If more users are coming in for leverage while liquidity providers slowly become less active, that can create a pretty different dynamic. From the borrower’s side, everything can still feel smooth and simple, but underneath, the available liquidity might be getting thinner.
And honestly, this is the part of TermMax I find most interesting.
I don’t think TVL alone tells us enough. I’d want to know whether LPs are making enough to actually stay, whether those range orders are being used consistently, and whether borrowing demand is generating enough fees to make providing liquidity worthwhile.
Because if leverage demand keeps growing while LP participation keeps weakening, there could eventually be a gap between how much users want to borrow and how much liquidity is actually available.
I’m not saying that’s happening right now. It could simply be an early-stage protocol still finding its balance.
But if I were watching TermMax closely, this is what I’d focus on next: not just how much capital comes in, but whether the people providing that capital actually have a reason to stick around.

I’ve been reading more about Hedger and how DUSK approaches privacy, and honestly, my biggest takeaway is that it’s not really trying to build a system where nobody can ever see or verify anything. It feels more like the goal is to give users privacy while still keeping certain things auditable when there’s a genuine reason to check them.
And I actually find that pretty interesting.
I think in crypto, we sometimes assume privacy means hiding everything from everyone. But if blockchain is going to be used by banks, institutions, and regulated businesses, complete invisibility could create a whole different set of problems. While going through the SME tokenization material, one thing really caught my attention. Dusk doesn’t seem to assume that tokenization magically removes every traditional step.
Legal approvals still matter. Notaries can still be involved. And some servicing decisions still need actual people to take responsibility.
Honestly, I find that approach more interesting, not less.
The NPEX context makes it even clearer. Dutch BV shares can still require a notarial deed even when ownership is represented digitally. So the blockchain isn’t simply replacing the legal system. It’s adding a shared layer that can make records, ownership and coordination much easier to manage.
And this actually made me rethink how I see the whole RWA narrative.
We often hear that tokenization will remove every intermediary and make everything instant. But real-world finance is probably much more complicated than that.
