Is Polygon losing the war?
It may sound exaggerated…
but maybe it isn’t.
#PolygonFunding 👇
While many see funding announcements,
I see something else:
a fight for survival.
Yes, Polygon has grown.
But past growth doesn’t guarantee future dominance.
Today, the game has changed.
Other Ethereum L2s are moving faster.
Arbitrum dominates liquidity.
Base dominates distribution.
And Polygon?
It’s funding its own ecosystem with millions.
35M in grants.
Hundreds of projects funded.
This isn’t just expansion.
It’s retention.
Because in Web3, nothing is fixed.
Devs leave.
Liquidity moves.
Narratives shift.
Polygon is still a giant.
But the market doesn’t respect history…
it respects momentum.
And the momentum right now?
It’s not as clear as it seems.
Does this mean Polygon will fail?
No.
But it does mean…
it’s fighting.
And in crypto,
those who have to fight too hard to keep their position…
are usually no longer in control.
Maybe the real question isn’t who will win…
but who will remain relevant.
