An altcoin can have a tiny price tag and still be expensive. 🧮
Hypothetical example: • Token price: $0.10 • Circulating supply: 100 million → $10 million market cap • Total supply: 1 billion → $100 million fully diluted valuation (FDV)
That gap is a prompt to investigate, not an automatic sell signal.
Before buying, check: 1. How many tokens unlock next month relative to circulating supply? 2. Who receives them, and what incentives might they have to sell? 3. Is there enough order-book depth to absorb selling without large price moves?
Unlocks do not guarantee a price drop. They can already be priced in, and unlocked tokens are not always sold. But ignoring supply changes means evaluating only half the story.
Market cap is not cash invested. FDV is not a price target. And a low unit price is not proof of a bargain.
What do you check first: token supply, liquidity, or demand?

A quick check before any crypto transfer: confirm the receiving platform supports both the asset AND the exact blockchain network you select. Copy the deposit address from the destination, check whether a memo or tag is required, and compare the full details before sending. A familiar token symbol does not mean every network is interchangeable. If you are using a new address, a small test transfer can reveal a mistake before you send the full amount. Fees and recovery options vary; some wrong-network transfers cannot be recovered. 25 Sep market snapshot: $BTC/USDT was near 84,208 on Binance Spot when checked this morning in Dubai, about +0.20% over the rolling 24 hours. Its 24-hour low was 82,874.93 and high was 84,942.45 — a range of roughly 2,068 USDT.
The small net change does not mean price barely moved. The 24-hour percentage compares two points; the high and low show the extremes reached between them. Neither tells you when volume traded or predicts the next move. A rolling 24-hour window is not the same as a calendar-day candle.

What does a funding rate tell you about $BTC perpetual futures?
Funding is a periodic payment between long and short positions that helps keep the perpetual contract near the spot price. When the rate is positive, longs pay shorts; when negative, shorts pay longs.
It can reveal positioning and change the cost of holding a trade, but it is not a price forecast. Compare funding with spot price, volume, and open interest, and check when the next payment is due.
