How does this come about?
"Foreign exchange and digital rights" introduces a strict legal framework under the supervision of the Bank of Russia: 🤔
Cryptocurrencies become formally considered as property; will citizens have judicial protection over these assets? 🤔
Within Russia, retailers still cannot use it as a payment currency, which I don’t see as major changes—rather, the obstacles for retailers continue.
What does this regulation mean for Bitcoin? 🇷🇺
The idea is to legalize the use of commercial operations worldwide.
The idea that major powers can’t stay out of Bitcoin opens the door to massive flows of institutional volume, while on the Russian macro side it moves one way and the micro side still has restrictions.
