It may begin quietly, inside the systems that move money. Japan’s Financial Services Agency has established its On-Chain Finance Forum for the AI Era, bringing together relevant government bodies and experts to explore how blockchain-based finance and artificial intelligence can be integrated into the financial system. The forum held its first meeting on September 30, 2026. Its agenda covered government reports and discussion, while the initiative aims to accelerate practical adoption of on-chain finance through cross-agency cooperation. The bigger picture extends beyond cryptocurrency trading. Blockchain-based settlement, tokenized financial assets, and digital payments could help make financial processes more efficient—but their real value depends on reliable infrastructure, legal certainty, and effective risk controls. My Take: Japan appears to be treating on-chain finance as a potential upgrade to financial infrastructure, not merely as a crypto trading trend. The forum’s direction emphasizes practical use cases, including tokenized assets, programmable payments, stablecoins, and coordination between financial institutions and government agencies. The challenge is balancing faster settlement with security, consumer protection, and financial stability. Japan’s approach suggests that blockchain adoption is increasingly about more than speculative trading. Stablecoins, tokenized securities, and digital settlement infrastructure could become important parts of regulated financial markets. For the broader crypto industry, clearer policy discussions could create opportunities for blockchain infrastructure providers and projects working on real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and payment solutions. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Publishing forum minutes does not mean Japan has approved a new crypto law or guaranteed adoption. The regulatory direction, implementation timeline, and commercial impact still need to become clearer. 🧠 MY TAKE: Japan is positioning itself to explore how traditional finance and blockchain can work together. The early-2027 roadmap will be an important milestone to watch for the next stage of tokenization and stablecoin development. 💬 What do you think? Tokenized assets on Solana are now a $4.37B footprint on the RWA.xyz dashboard. As of Oct. 16, RWA.xyz lists $4.37B in distributed asset value and 902,273 holders. $INJ is right in the middle of the tokenized asset conversation. Almost 50% of all markets on @Injective are related to tokenized assets, including 135 RWA markets across equities, foreign exchange, commodities, indices and pre-IPO assets. Let that sink in. This is more than just providing access to a handful of "tokenized" stocks. Its mission is to create infrastructure for different asset classes to become part of onchain markets. Equities. Commodities. FX. Indices. Pre-IPO exposure. Every opening new avenues for people to access and deal with monetary assets. What I find remarkable is that access to RWA is not a side goal that was bolted on to Injective. It's fast becoming a financial backbone of the network. That's important because the future of tokenization will require more than just storing assets on a blockchain. It will require markets, liquidity, execution and infrastructure to enable the use of those assets. Injective is working towards that grander vision and is at the very core of the ecosystem. Tokenized finance is progressing in stride. Keep your eyes on Injective. 🥷 #injective #RWA #Tokenization #defi #OnChainFinance

Tokenization gets harder as assets get smarter 🏦 Putting an asset onchain is one part of the process. Financial applications can also depend on calculations across changing datasets, from reporting and historical performance to cash flows and other asset-level information. Those calculations create another question. How can an application verify that the result was computed correctly? Space and Time provides infrastructure for running supported SQL queries against committed data and generating cryptographic proofs of the computation through Proof of SQL. That creates practical applications for institutions and developers building more sophisticated tokenized financial products, with the $SXT network supporting the underlying data infrastructure. Space and Time's technology doesn't prove that an underlying asset exists or replace custody and auditing processes. It provides a way to make supported computation over the relevant data verifiable. #OnchainFinance

Everyone thinks the IMF calling tokenized markets small means they can safely be ignored. But actually that early-stage size is the remaining window before traditional finance notices. Too many traders sit this out waiting for the numbers to look impressive. They miss the cheap entries and later buy after the move has already started. The IMF report confirms tokenized real-world assets remain a tiny fraction of traditional markets. It is like Amazon when it was still just an online bookstore. Most dismissed it because the whole internet looked too small. Those who understood 24/7 access and buying a slice instead of the whole pie got in first. The same pattern is here with on-chain treasuries and property through tokens such as $ONDO, settled around the clock on $ETH. Treating the current small size as a reason to stay away is the mistake that forces people to chase later. You can already participate on Binance with $BNB pairs instead of waiting for banks to open. Where do you think this goes once traditional players finally start moving on-chain? #RWA #Tokenization #OnChainFinance

Last week the IMF put out a report showing tokenized markets are still tiny next to traditional finance. Investors often wait for these markets to mature before committing capital. That delay usually means buying after the easy gains have already happened. The IMF findings confirm tokenized real-world assets sit in a very early phase versus the established financial world. It brings to mind how $BTC began as something few took seriously, only to grow into a major player over time. The advantages of 24/7 access and being able to own small pieces of high-value assets set this apart from older models. $ETH continues to host most of the activity here, with names like $ONDO demonstrating practical use cases in yield-bearing tokens that traditional competitors have yet to match at the same pace. History in crypto suggests that when a sector starts this small, the compounding can surprise even the skeptics. What's your take on jumping into this now versus waiting for more confirmation? #RWA #Tokenization #OnChainFinance

What I’m watching in tokenization is not simply assets moving on-chain. It is price discovery becoming digital before ownership does. I think the sequence of change in financial infrastructure is being misunderstood. Markets are digitizing price exposure first, not ownership. Synthetic products and perpetual structures can already bring the economic movement of an asset on-chain, while true ownership, custody and settlement infrastructure follow later. That leads me to a different conclusion. The future advantage may not belong to the platform that tokenizes the most assets. It may belong to the infrastructure that can close the gap between synthetic price discovery and real ownership. Because if price discovery happens in one place, ownership in another and collateral somewhere else, the system is still fragmented. As those layers move closer together, on-chain finance stops being just another product category and starts becoming actual market infrastructure. For me, the real race is not about which stock gets tokenized next. It is about who can bring price discovery and real ownership as close to the same layer as possible. I think the next major financial layer will be built there. #Tokenization #OnchainFinance #MarketStructure

Tokenized stocks are no longer just about putting stocks on a blockchain. The bigger story is what people are actually doing with them. According to Binance Research, on-chain transfers of tokenized stocks including trading volume surpassed $100B in Q3 2026. For perspective: Q1: $6B Q3: $100B+ That's more than just growth in supply. It's a sign that tokenized equities are becoming part of actual on-chain activity. And there's another interesting shift happening. Tokenized stocks are starting to move beyond simply being held. They can be transferred, traded and through the DeFi ecosystem, put to work as collateral or within liquidity markets. That's the real power of tokenization. A traditional stock position usually sits inside a brokerage account. An on-chain representation can become part of a broader programmable financial ecosystem. This is where BNB Chain becomes interesting. BNB Chain has become the largest home for tokenized stocks, with around $1B in tokenized stock market cap and 1.8M holders as of mid September, according to Binance Research. And sitting inside that ecosystem is bStocks. Launched on BNB Chain in June, bStocks are 1:1 backed tokenized U.S. securities represented as BEP-20 tokens. So the bigger story isn't: Stocks are coming to crypto. It's: Financial assets are becoming programmable. The line between traditional finance and on-chain finance is getting thinner. And we are watching that transition happen in real time. @Binance_Angels #OnChainFinance

Here's what happened when the SEC opened a door for tokenized stocks onchain. Every trader knows the frustration of watching names like Nvidia run while their crypto sits isolated in a wallet. Switching between a brokerage and DeFi still takes days and costs real money, and more than a few people have already been rugged by fake tokenized share projects with nothing behind them. This looks a lot like the Bitcoin ETF moment. Those products pulled in tens of billions within months of going live. Tokenized stocks could go further with 24/7 trading and the ability to use actual shares as DeFi collateral. $ONDO already proved the model with tokenized treasuries at scale. Most serious experiments settle on $ETH, and $LINK oracles would be what keeps the onchain price honest against the real close. The 2018 security token wave died from pure regulatory hostility. This time the SEC is writing the rules instead of just suing. That is the difference that actually matters. Where do you think this goes from here? #TokenizedStocks #RWA #OnchainFinance
