Amazon’s Generac Deal: A New Bet on Data-Center Power

Amazon has secured warrants to purchase up to .1.69 million shares of Generac Holdings (GNRC). at an exercise price of about .$200.93 per share. Around 307,954 shares vested immediately, while the remaining warrants will vest in stages depending on Amazon’s purchases of backup generators. The warrants can be exercised through September 2033.
The warrants are part of a much larger long-term supply agreement. Generac expects initial generator deliveries worth approximately $2.4 billion in 2027 and 2028, while the broader arrangement could generate up to
$8 billion.in payments tied to Amazon’s data-center infrastructure.
