📢 🚨 Hack of R$ 400 million exposes fragility in the Brazilian financial system One of the largest cyber attacks in the history of the Brazilian banking system occurred this week. A third-party company connected to the Central Bank, C&M Software, was hacked — resulting in the diversion of at least R$ 400 million, potentially reaching R$ 1 billion, according to market sources. 🔍 C&M is responsible for integrating banks and fintechs into the SPB, PIX, and TED, acting as a bridge between institutions and the Central Bank. 💥 The attack targeted reserve accounts (used for settlements between banks, not for regular customers), with intruders accessing these accounts and moving the funds. 💸 Part of the diverted funds was quickly converted into cryptocurrencies, such as BTC and USDT, but international exchanges were able to trace and block some transactions. ⸻ 🧠 Reflection for those operating in crypto: Even with regulations and security layers in the traditional banking system, no environment is 100% inviolable. ⸻ 📉 The real’s purchasing power continues to decline Since the launch of the Real Plan in July 1994, accumulated inflation has significantly reduced the purchasing power of Brazil’s currency. 📊 In amounts adjusted by the IPCA, R$ 100 from 1994 today are equivalent to approximately R$ 1.100 to buy the same set of goods and services. This does not mean that the Real Plan failed. On the contrary: it was responsible for ending hyperinflation and bringing stability to the Brazilian economy. However, even in an environment where inflation is considered “controlled,” the continuous rise in prices over more than 30 years gradually reduces the value of money. In practice, that explains why many Brazilians feel like they work more but can buy less. This scenario highlights the importance of preserving wealth through investments that aim to outperform inflation in the long term. Keeping funds sitting in investments with returns lower than the IPCA means, in practice, losing purchasing power. 💬 Do you believe your investments are managing to beat inflation? #BinanceSquare #Bitcoin #real

Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, said that the Bitcoin market is more stable after the reduction of excessive leverage—a factor, according to him, that has always been a concern. In an interview with CNBC, the executive also said he is optimistic about the markets over the next 12 months. The statement comes as IBIT, BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF, shows signs of recovery. After strong outflows in recent months, the fund has posted inflows in six of the last nine trading sessions and remains the largest Bitcoin ETF in the world, with about 735 thousand BTC under management. "As I said on previous occasions when I was here, I have always been concerned about leverage in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. There were excessively leveraged participants in that market. That is why we had that elimination of excesses, and I think there is more stability at these current levels. But no, we do not see that much implied leverage." Peter Schiff, one of the most notorious critics of Bitcoin, expressed regret for not having bought the cryptocurrency when he first came across it, around 2010, when it was trading near US$ 1. Despite that admission, the economist maintains his position that investors should sell the asset at current levels, above US$ 60 thousand. In an X network post, Schiff wrote: “Many people, including me, regret not having bought Bitcoin when they first heard about it. Soon, more people will regret not having sold Bitcoin above US$ 60 thousand when they had the chance.” Schiff had previously revealed that he wished he had bought between 10,000 and 50,000 bitcoins at the beginning of the cryptocurrency’s story. However, he continues to argue that Bitcoin has no intrinsic value and recommends selling the asset—a stance often challenged by investors on social media.

Bolivia is studying the inclusion of the stablecoin USDT in the country’s payment system as part of measures to address the economic crisis. According to Economy Minister José Gabriel Espinoza, the proposal is still under technical review and could allow the asset to circulate alongside the US dollar and the Boliviano. Espinoza said that adopting the stablecoin depends on appropriate regulation, especially because Bolivia is on the FATF gray list due to shortcomings in combating money laundering. He also noted that USDT is different from Bitcoin, since its price is tied to the US dollar, while BTC shows higher volatility. In recent years, the use of cryptocurrencies has grown rapidly in Bolivia, driven by a shortage of dollars and the search for alternatives to preserve the population’s purchasing power.

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) said that Bitcoin could reach US$ 600 thousand in the next bull cycle and surpass US$ 1 million in the following cycle. In an interview with The Block, the executive said the last cycle fell short of expectations due to macroeconomic factors such as wars and elections. "I think the last cycle was affected by the war, by the elections. It was a weak cycle in which Bitcoin only did 2x. Before that, in the 2017 cycle, it did 10x," CZ said. According to him, a fivefold increase from the last all-time high would take the asset to the region of US$ 600 thousand. Despite the optimism, CZ avoided treating the projection as a certainty. "I’m not saying this will happen. I’m saying only that it’s completely possible," he said, adding that in a later cycle, Bitcoin could top US$ 1 million. During the interview, the Binance founder also discussed his time in prison in the United States and again talked about old disputes involving OKCoin. Regarding competitors’ criticism, he said that "many people are jealous of Binance’s success" and described this type of attack as "quite childish".

How not to lose money with the new cryptocurrency regulation in Brazil? With the entry into force of DeCripto, Brazil adopted the OECD international standard, finally putting an end to the anonymity of anyone investing in foreign exchanges. Now, data matching is immediate and any filing error can result in hefty fines of 1.5% to 3% of the transaction value. But while Brazil tightens up, countries like the United Arab Emirates and El Salvador, Singapore and Switzerland offer zero tax on crypto capital gains.

🚨 ALERT IN THE CRYPTO WORLD: QUANTUM COMPUTING AND THE REAL RISK A recent technical study from Google has raised an important signal for the future of cryptocurrencies. The research analyzes the impacts of quantum computing on elliptic curve-based cryptography — technology that protects networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The central point: the advancement of quantum hardware is reducing the time needed for previously considered impossible attacks to become viable. According to the researchers, breaking the Elliptic Curve Discrete Logarithm Problem — the basis of the security of these networks — may require around 1200 logical qubits and millions of quantum operations. This level has not yet been reached, but technological evolution is shortening that distance. ⚠️ The study highlights three main risks: • Exposed transactions during use • Public keys already revealed • Possible structural vulnerabilities in the protocol In other words: the impact could go beyond isolated attacks — potentially affecting the trust and stability of the entire system. 💣 A concerning fact: about 2.3 million bitcoins may be vulnerable, especially in old formats. And worse — many of these assets are lost and cannot be updated or protected. Even though mining is not an immediate threat, a successful attack could generate chain effects: loss of trust, selling pressure, and direct impact on the market. ⏳ The good news? 🚨 ATTENTION: THE WAR HAS ESCALATED… AND THE MARKET HAS ALREADY STARTED TO PRICE IN

While most are still reading headlines…

billions have already started to shift positions in the global market.

And those who understand the cycle know:
wars follow an almost predictable pattern in the financial market.

It works like this:

⚡ STAGE 1 — FEAR

• rapid liquidations
• high volatility
• investors panicking

This is when the market reacts emotionally.

⚡ STAGE 2 — THE MOVEMENT OF MONEY

Capital begins to flee to assets considered safe:

📈 oil
📈 dollar
📈 gold
📈 government bonds

Meanwhile…

📉 risk assets begin to feel pressure.

⚡ STAGE 3 — WHAT ALMOST NOBODY NOTICES

While the public panics…

institutions begin to buy.

Silently.
Strategically.
Without drawing attention.

This is the moment when large positions start to be built.

📊 NOW LOOK AT WHAT IS HAPPENING:

• oil rising
• dollar gaining strength
• volatility increasing in the crypto market

This means one thing:
the market has entered risk mode.

💡 AND BITCOIN IN ALL OF THIS?

Historically, it reacts at two moments:

1️⃣ first it falls with the panic
2️⃣ then it rises when the financial system enters instability

It has been like this in several global crises.

👁️ Now pay attention to this:

The big players are watching only three things at this moment:

• oil price
• global interest rate decisions
• expansion or containment of the war

These three factors can define the next big market movement.

⚠️ And here is the truth that few talk about:

crises do not destroy money.

They only transfer money from those who react late to those who position themselves early.

Do you think this global tension will:

A) further crash the market
B) create a new rush for Bitcoin

In recent days, the market has raised an old question:
📉 is Bitcoin collapsing?

Let's look at the facts 👇

🔍 What is a "death spiral"?
It's when an asset loses confidence irreversibly, users abandon the network, miners shut down operations, and the system collapses.

❌ This is NOT the current scenario for Bitcoin

📌 What is really happening:
• Natural correction after bull cycles
• Profit-taking by large investors
• Macroeconomic pressure (high interest rates and risk aversion)
• Excess leverage being liquidated

🔐 Fundamentals remain strong:
✔️ Network operating normally
✔️ High security and hashrate
✔️ Limited supply maintained
✔️ Institutional interest still present

📈 History matters:
In all major bear cycles, Bitcoin has been declared "dead".

📊 UPDATE ON BITCOIN TAXES IN BRAZIL 🇧🇷

The federal government is studying to apply a IOF ~3.5% on cryptocurrency purchases above R$ 10 thousand, which may directly affect those who buy Bitcoin and other digital currencies. The proposal will still be debated in a public consultation before moving forward in Congress.

🔎 Additionally, since June 2025, Brazil has already been charging a fixed income tax of 17.5% on all profits obtained with crypto, eliminating the old exemption for sales of up to R$ 35 thousand per month.

💬 Do you think it's fair for Brazil to tax even more those who invest in Bitcoin?
