All Mainnet node operators must upgrade to Protocol 26 by August 11 in order to maintain connectivity with the network.

More importantly, for the first time, the Pi core team has publicly positioned Protocol 27 as the final planned upgrade—signaling that Pi Network’s core infrastructure is nearing completion. This strongly suggests that the project’s focus is gradually shifting from laying the foundation to expanding the ecosystem.

The next phase will belong to a range of applications, smart contracts, digital assets, stablecoins, trading platforms, and real-world use cases.
