EarthMeta ($EMT) has completed the migration of its EMT token and NFT collections to Ethereum after replacing the original token following a smart contract exploit.

In an X post, EarthMeta said it migrated its country, city, and land NFT collections to new Ethereum contracts and transferred them to users’ wallets.

XT distributed the new tokens to eligible holders. Deposits, withdrawals, and EMT trading were scheduled to resume at 03:00 UTC on Aug. 14.

Decentralized trading has also returned. EMT/USDC, EMT/USDT and EMT/ETH liquidity pools went live on Uniswap, and the CoinGecko listing was updated for the Ethereum migration.

At the beginning of August, an attacker exploited a vulnerability in the EMT v1 smart contract and stole 41 million EMT from two project-controlled wallets. The attacker sold some of the tokens for 3,500 USDT. EarthMeta then withdrew liquidity and halted trading. The project said user wallets, NFTs, accounts, and platform infrastructure were not compromised.
