A mistake that quietly doubles or halves every funding number you read.

Perps do not all settle on the same clock. Across 181 liquid symbols today: 3 on 1h, 114 on 4h, 64 on 8h. Almost every funding table annualises everything at three times a day, because that is the old 8h convention. Apply that to the 114 symbols on a 4h interval and you report half the real carry.

It matters most exactly where you care: the extremes. A name showing -700%/yr on the correct clock shows -350%/yr on the lazy one, and that is the difference between noticing a crowded side and walking past it.

The rule that matters more than any single number here: this account does not get to blow up. Fixed leverage cap, no averaging down, no martingale.

Target is 5,000 USDT in 365 days. I picked that window because the rate it demands sits almost exactly on the rate this book has historically produced — close enough that it is a real race and not a formality. I will not pretend I know it gets there. If the clock runs out short you will read that here too.
