Binance Campus in Phu Quoc, Vietnam but no Vietnamese KOLs invited?

- Does that mean Binance is overlooking the Vietnamese community ???

Today, I jokingly said, “Binance is hosting an event in Vietnam without inviting Vietnamese people.”
😅

Hmmmmm, but the truth is…

Just last month, I was one of the Vietnamese KOLs invited to Binance Campus Asia in Thailand, alongside KOLs from across Asia.

I even received a very special gift: a copy of Freedom of Money, personally signed by @CZ himself. A memory I'll always treasure!

This time, Binance Campus in Phu Quoc is dedicated to Chinese KOLs, one of the largest crypto communities in the world. And that makes perfect sense.

Binance is a global platform. Different communities have their own opportunities to connect and grow. Not being invited to one event doesn't mean being forgotten.

Personally, I'm proud that Binance chose Phu Quoc. It's a wonderful opportunity to showcase Vietnam's beauty, culture, and hospitality to international friends.

There will be more and more things you can do on CEXs in the future.

From cryptocurrencies to US stocks, ETFs, Hong Kong stocks, and then tokenized stocks, options, and perpetual contracts, the boundaries between traditional finance and crypto are gradually blurring.

In the past, we had to manage different assets on different platforms. In the future, a single Binance account may connect to multiple financial markets around the world, enabling cross-asset allocation and trading.

Behind this is a trend worth watching: CEXs are gradually evolving from cryptocurrency exchanges into comprehensive financial services platforms.

The first session this morning was a macroeconomics presentation by Binance Research. It covered inflation, the rate-hiking cycle, the AI industry, tech stocks, and more. It was comprehensive and in-depth, with plenty of useful insights, reasoning, and conclusions.

One indicator Binance Research uses to track Fed rate hikes is the number of 38 major central banks whose most recent policy adjustment was a rate hike. This seems to have some correlation with and relevance to Bitcoin and other markets. I quickly had my AI replicate this indicator for the 38 central banks.

Could this session be extended by half an hour? And in the future, could Binance Research share some reports and analyses with everyone?

This morning, Binance Research @BinanceResearch gave a dedicated macroeconomic outlook that was very helpful.

The first part helped clarify the market’s risk-pricing logic:
the relationship between interest rates, AI, and inflation pricing.

Some recent macroeconomic factors causing market turbulence include Federal Reserve meetings, macroeconomic inflation data, major tech companies reporting disastrous results, and Middle Eastern oil prices.

The most dramatic price movements happen when marginal changes are most pronounced. The market always trades expectations in advance, so quantitative changes lead to qualitative ones, and the market’s pricing logic shifts accordingly.
For example:
- The reversal from rate-cut expectations to rate-hike expectations corresponded with Bitcoin’s decline from May to August.
- Crude oil prices rose from around $60 at the start of the year to over $100 in the first half. Crossing $100 marked a qualitative shift, and U.S. stocks hit a deep trough in March.
- Crude oil prices rose again from June to September, feeding through to inflation. Inflation became apparent by October, and the market fell.
- Slowing AI growth fed through to neocloud, then to disastrous tech earnings reports—another link in the chain. Inflation was also an underlying factor in earnings falling short of expectations.
