Binance NFT Marketplace Launches The CR7 NFT Collection

Binance NFT Marketplace is excited to announce the launch of The CR7 NFT Collection — the first of a series of drops featuring the Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo. The NFT collection will be available exclusively on Binance NFT.

The CR7 NFT Collection

This NFT collection is designed to immortalize Cristiano Ronaldo’s incredible legacy that football fans have gotten to enjoy over the past two decades.

The NFT collection comprises seven animated NFT statues, which each depicts an iconic moment from Cristiano Ronaldo’s storied career. A total of four different rarity levels are available — Super Super Rare (SSR), Super Rare (SR), Rare (R), and Normal (N) — and each rarity level will come with its own utility for NFT holders. 

• The Unprecedented (SSR): Virtual greeting from Cristiano Ronaldo, an autographed Cristiano Ronaldo physical statue, automatic whitelisting for all future CR7 collections, an autographed Binance shirt, a free CR7 Mystery Box from an upcoming CR7 collection, and automatic entry into all future contests to win exclusive Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance merchandise.
• The Undisputed (SR) or The Coronation (SR): Automatic whitelisting for all future CR7 collections, an autographed Binance shirt, a free CR7 Mystery Box from an upcoming CR7 collection, and automatic entry into all future contests to win exclusive Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance merchandise.
• The Coming of Age (R) or The Restoration (R): A free CR7 Mystery Box from an upcoming CR7 collection, and automatic entry into all future contests to win exclusive Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance merchandise.
• The First Step (N) or The Breakout (N): Automatic entry into all future contests to win exclusive Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance merchandise.

Auction Featuring Super Super Rare (SSR) and Super Rare (SR) NFTs From The CR7 NFT Collection

Users may purchase the rarest of “The CR7 NFT Collection” NFTs in an auction that is taking place from 2022-11-18 09:00 (UTC) to 2022-11-19 09:00 (UTC). A total of five “The Unprecedented” (SSR) NFTs are available in the auction, as well as 20 “The Undisputed” (SR) NFTs and 20 “The Coronation” (SR) NFTs. 

Bidding prices will start at 10,000 BUSD for “The Unprecedented” (SSR) NFTs, and 1,700 BUSD for “The Undisputed” (SR) and “The Coronation” (SR) NFTs.

Subscription Mechanism Timeline for Rare (R) and Normal (N) NFTs From The CR7 NFT Collection

The launch of Rare (R) and Normal (N) NFTs from this NFT collection will follow the BNB Prerequisite feature, as part of the Subscription Mechanism. With the option to enter either one or both of the Rare and Normal NFT primary sales, users may receive one of two Rare (R) NFT designs, as well as either one or both of the Normal (N) NFT designs, where applicable. 

1. Preparation Phase — 2022-11-19 00:00 (UTC) to 2022-11-21 02:00 (UTC)

During the Preparation Phase, users are required to fulfill the BNB Prerequisite by meeting the minimum daily average BNB holding of 0.1 BNB. Those who fulfill this requirement will qualify to participate in both the Rare and Normal NFT primary sales. 

2. Subscription Phase — 2022-11-21 02:00 (UTC) to 2022-11-23 09:00 (UTC)

Qualified users will proceed to the Subscription Phase, where they will be allocated participation tickets to join the sale. Each qualified user can only receive one participation ticket for the Rare NFT primary sale, and seven participation tickets for the Normal NFT primary sale.

During this phase, users are required to submit the participation tickets to the respective NFT primary sales by clicking [Subscribe for Ticket(s)]. Only users who submit and subscribe their tickets will be qualified to participate in the sale.

After users subscribe to the Rare and/or Normal NFT primary sale(s), all committed participation tickets will enter a pool, where each ticket has an equal chance of winning. Note that each committed participation ticket will mean that the corresponding amount of BUSD tokens (i.e. 700 BUSD for a Rare (R) NFT and 77 BUSD for a Normal (N) NFT) is locked, and this will only be refunded at the end of the Distribution Phase for those who do not receive a winning ticket. 

As users can only use the available BUSD balance in their Spot Wallets to complete subscriptions, they should ensure that they have sufficient BUSD in their Spot Wallets before subscribing their participation tickets.

3. Calculation Phase — 2022-11-23 09:00 (UTC) to 2022-11-23 12:00 (UTC)

The system will select the winning tickets from among all committed participation tickets. A winning ticket allows the user to purchase a CR7 NFT in the respective Rare and/or Normal NFT primary sale(s), where applicable.

4. Distribution Phase — 2022-11-23 12:00 (UTC)

Users who hold winning participation tickets will be able to purchase CR7 Rare (R) and/or Normal (N) NFTs in the primary sale. The corresponding BUSD amount will be deducted from their Binance Spot Wallet balance. Users who do not hold winning participation tickets will have their locked BUSD automatically returned to their Spot Wallets.

To celebrate Cristiano Ronaldo’s first-ever NFT collection, Binance NFT is giving away 1.5 million CR7 Mystery Boxes to new Binance users who sign up for a Binance account from the event page on a first-come, first-serve basis! New users may also qualify to receive the CR7 Mystery Box when registering for a Binance account using the “RONALDO” referral code.

  • Each account is limited to a maximum purchase of one Rare (R) NFT from the Rare NFT primary sale, and a maximum purchase of seven Normal (N) NFTs from the Normal NFT primary sale. 
  • Please note that users are unable to select specific Rare (R) and Normal (N) NFT designs for purchase in the corresponding Rare and Normal NFT primary sale(s). Users with winning participation tickets will automatically receive the NFTs in their Binance accounts after the end of the Distribution Phase, and the corresponding BUSD tokens will be deducted from their Binance Spot Wallet balance. 
  • Rare (R) and Normal (N) NFTs can be listed on Binance NFT’s secondary market after the end of the Distribution Phase at 2022-11-23 12:00 (UTC).
• Activity 1:
  • The CR7 Mystery Boxes will be distributed to eligible new Binance users on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Each new Binance account may claim a maximum of one CR7 Mystery Box only. 
  • New Binance users must complete identity verification to claim the CR7 Mystery Box. Learn more in our FAQ.
• Activity 2:
  • Users will need to hold at least one “The First Step” (Basic) NFT or “The Breakout” (Common) NFT from the CR7 Mystery Box Collection during the Snapshot Period on 2022-12-19 (UTC) to qualify for rewards.
  • The SSR or SR NFT rewards from The CR7 NFT Collection will be distributed within one week after the Activity ends.
  • No refunds or cash equivalent value of the rewards will be granted.
• SSR and SR NFT Utilities for The CR7 NFT Collection: 
  • Binance will contact eligible NFT holders regarding the realization and distribution of SSR and SR NFT utilities for The CR7 NFT Collection, which will commence from 2023. 
  • Users may qualify for SSR or SR NFT utilities from The CR7 NFT Collection immediately once they hold the required NFTs in their accounts and complete the following steps:  
    • Step 1: Head to Binance NFT > Profile > Collected NFTs. 
    • Step 2: Click on your SSR or SR NFT from ​​“The CR7 NFT Collection”, and select [Redeem] after you have been redirected to the individual CR7 NFT page. 
    • Step 3: Provide your personal information and shipping details to facilitate the distribution of the relevant utilities. 
  • The deadline to qualify for SSR and SR NFT utilities is 2023-01-01 00:00 (UTC). Please click [Redeem] on each unique SSR and SR NFT design purchased from The CR7 NFT Collection before this date to qualify for the corresponding NFT utilities. 
  • SSR and SR NFTs from The CR7 NFT Collection can be listed on Binance NFT’s secondary market before 2023-01-01 00:00 (UTC) only if you have not redeemed any of their utilities.
  • Once you have redeemed the NFT’s utilities, the NFT will be frozen, and it cannot be withdrawn or listed on Binance NFT’s secondary market until 2023-01-01 00:00 (UTC). 
  • SSR and SR NFT holders will be automatically whitelisted for all future CR7 collections, which will be announced in future announcements, when available. 
  • No refunds or cash equivalent value of the rewards will be granted. 
• Further details on the realization of NFT utilities for Rare (R) and Normal (N) NFTs from The CR7 NFT Collection will be announced in future announcements.
• Binance reserves the right to disqualify any participants showing signs of fraudulent behavior immediately.
• Binance reserves the right to disqualify trades that are deemed to be performed by illegally bulk-registered accounts.
• Additional promotion terms and conditions can be accessed here.
• Where any discrepancy arises between the translated versions and the original English version, the English version shall prevail.
