The mastermind behind the Pump Fun exploit has been apprehended by British authorities. Jarett Dunn, known by his alias
@STACCoverflow, was arrested early Saturday morning in London.
🛑A private security firm successfully tracked down Dunn using his Instagram posts and traditional detective methods. Following a 26-hour operation, Dunn was found hiding in the Middle Eight Hotel in Covent Garden.
🛑Dunn allegedly used his insider access to exploit the protocol and misappropriate funds in just 100 minutes. In a surprising twist, he airdropped the stolen assets to random Solana users. The Pump Fun team has since redeployed their smart contracts to enhance security and has promised to compensate the victims.
