A crypto scam can lead to another kind of loss. 🔐 According to a report by Odaily, more than 60 BTC, reportedly worth around $4.8 million, was stolen from three addresses associated with Ledger hardware wallets. The case has an unusual detail: the funds were allegedly linked to a task scam involving fake product sales and reviews. In this type of scam, participants may be shown a negative balance and told to deposit their own money to unlock their supposed earnings. There are three important lessons to remember: • Never pay money to unlock promised wages. • Avoid tasks that require fake reviews or misleading sales. • Verify transactions and wallet activity independently. A hardware wallet can help protect your private keys, but it cannot prevent every type of scam or theft. 💬 What warning signs would make you suspicious of an online task offer? #CryptoSecurity #Bitcoin #ScamAwareness

5 signs a crypto message may be a scam 🚨   • It promises guaranteed returns. • It creates urgency: “Act now or miss out.” • It asks for your seed phrase, password, or verification code. • It sends you to an unfamiliar website or fake support account. • It claims you must pay a “fee” to unlock funds or rewards.   A legitimate platform will not need your seed phrase or password. Our first priority is to save ourselves from scams and anti phishing link, activities and don't click on third party links in any situation until we have to verify by the official app. Don't share OTP, password and any personal information with anyone else. Save your hard earned money, always check updates from the official app if you receive any message or mail, someone claiming official from that platform. Don't pick any offers by clicking on any link. Save yourself. #Binance #ScamAwareness

🚨 HOW TO SPOT A FAKE CRYPTO PROJECT Before buying any crypto, don't let hype make the decision for you. 🔍 Here are 7 things to check: 1️⃣ Guaranteed profits 🚩 If a project promises guaranteed returns or says you “cannot lose,” be extremely cautious. 2️⃣ Anonymous or unverifiable team 👤 Check whether the team members have credible, verifiable backgrounds. 3️⃣ No real documentation 📄 Read the project's whitepaper and documentation. Look for specific information about what the project actually does. 4️⃣ Fake partnerships 🤝 Don't trust logos or screenshots alone. Verify important partnerships through the supposed partner's official channels. 5️⃣ Suspicious tokenomics 💰 Check who owns the supply. A small number of wallets controlling a huge percentage can create significant risk. 6️⃣ Low or questionable liquidity 💧 A token may look valuable on paper but be difficult to sell if liquidity is very low. 7️⃣ Heavy hype + little substance 📢 Thousands of followers don't prove that a project is legitimate. Look for actual development, transparent information and verifiable activity. ⚠️ Remember: Passing these checks does NOT guarantee a project is safe. Crypto is risky, and scams can look professional. Cryptocurrency scam is a fraudulent scheme designed to steal digital assets like Bitcoin or personal information from investors and traders. Scammers often use fake investment platforms, phishing links, romance scams, impersonation, or “guaranteed profit” promises to deceive victims. Because crypto transactions are mostly irreversible and anonymous, recovering stolen funds can be difficult. Always verify platforms, avoid sharing wallet details, and be cautious of offers that sound too good to be true. #Cryptoscam #SCAMalerts #ScamAwareness
