#CORE Core DAO November 25 plan to roll out Hermes update on the main network.
Key changes:
- The update will reduce block completion time to ~6 seconds;
- It will add support for BLS12-381 cryptography, access to historical block hashes, and EOA with code;
- Validators will be able to emit multiple blocks in succession, which will increase performance and reduce network latency;
- Commission support for CORE and BTC staking will be available.
