Binance Angels are one of the pillars of the Binance ecosystem, and as CZ once tweeted, they are the secret to Binance’s success. In this series, we’d like to share with you more about this exciting program and introduce you to Binance Angels from all around the world.
Who Are Binance Angels?
“Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.” – Howard Zinn.
Binance Angels are self-motivated representatives of the Binance community. They are passionate volunteers whose belief in the transformative power of blockchain technology ignited their passion to contribute to Binance’s vision: to increase the freedom of money around the world.
What Do Binance Angels Do?
As users and believers of cryptocurrency and blockchain, Binance Angels focus on growing the Binance community by promoting the movement and recruiting like-minded individuals to join our mission. Some of their tasks include:
Running and moderating online communities while keeping them secure from scammers and spammers.
Assisting new Binance users with platform queries and escalating problems to the Customer Support team.
Creating compelling content for social media and communication channels.
Organizing exciting events and meetups.
How Can You Support the Binance Mission?
Angels focus on helping grow the Binance community in their local markets. Aside from supporting local users by escalating issues to CS and moderating what happens online, many Angels focus on educating others about blockchain and crypto.
After all, their main goal is to increase the adoption of crypto and its use around the world. As a Binance Angel, you’ll be invited to all the local community meetups, events, as well as online and physical gatherings. You’ll be able to interact and network with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas and thoughts, and dive deeper into Binance’s culture.

Meet Lucia
Lucia Quaglia is Binance’s very own Community Manager for Europe. Lucia started her journey with Binance in 2018 and has since managed the Angels community in Italy both online and offline, recently having moved to support Europe.
Lucia is a passionate crypto supporter and enthusiast. Her main goal is to educate as many people as possible about the blockchain ecosystem and Binance’s role in it. She works around the clock to build trusting communities in various countries across Europe, most importantly in her home country, Italy. To get to know Lucia better, we asked her a few questions.
What’s your favorite thing about being a Binancian?
My favorite thing about being a Binancian is working with people who share my passion for crypto. I can safely say that every Binancian is very excited about the crypto space and its fast development!
What does your day-to-day as a Community Manager look like?
As a community manager, I’m on the frontline for users, Angels, and other Binancians. My job is not only to build strong relationships within the communities I manage but also to be a facilitator of different requests from the users to the Binance ecosystem.
Meet Our European Angels - Dom, Ribka, and Chibi
What do you think all our angels have in common, despite being from different backgrounds, cultures, and countries? You guessed it – a passion for crypto. We asked them a few questions about their experiences in the crypto world and as Binance Angels.
Tell us how you started your journey with Binance
Ribka: My brothers actually introduced me to Binance. I found the platform easy to use as a beginner and quickly grew to love the crypto space. I felt inspired to share my passion with others, especially those in my home country, the Netherlands.
Chibi: Back in 2020, I had my own travel agency dedicated to organizing trips to Japan. 2020 should’ve been our best year ever due to the Tokyo Olympics, but then the pandemic came. As the entire tourism industry froze, so did my income. I had to figure out how to make ends meet during this very complicated time in my life, and that’s when I was introduced to Binance by a friend.
Dom: I first heard about Bitcoin in 2017 from the news, and Binance was the first cryptocurrency exchange recommended to me by a friend. I was always interested in emerging technologies, so the idea of a digital, decentralized currency immediately intrigued me. At the time, I also discovered the Binance Czech & Slovak Telegram Group, but given the general lack of public interest in the cryptocurrency market at the time, the group was inactive.
How long have you been a Binance Angel, and what are your favorite things about the community?
Ribka: I’ve been a Binance Angel since 2018 and am also helping out as an Archangel - we train candidates as well as new Angels. Meeting CZ in person was perhaps the most special experience I’ve had as an angel – CZ is a great visionary and leader with a kind heart. I’m passionate about helping people get started on their crypto journey, promoting blockchain adoption globally, and helping out in my community.
Since joining Binance, I’ve been able to witness it grow exponentially worldwide. Knowing that I’ve contributed to this growth makes me very proud and excited to see what’s to come in the future.
Chibi: I’ve been a Binance Angel since May 2021. What I love about the community is meeting new Binancians – I was especially lucky to have had the opportunity to meet both CZ and Yi He.
I’m committed to helping users learn about the platform and, most importantly, to help them avoid scams and fraudsters. For me, the growth of our community and Binance itself has been the most rewarding experience of my journey as a Binance Angel so far.
Dom: I came across the Binance Angels Program in May 2020, and after learning who Binance Angels are and what they do, I knew this was my chance to build a local community in Czechia and Slovakia.
I love being a Binance Angel for all the opportunities Binance gives me, such as networking with like-minded people, traveling, and learning new skills. Binance constantly pushes me out of my comfort zone and encourages me to become a better version of myself.
Thanks to Binance, I was able to fulfill my long-term dream of visiting Dubai when I traveled there for Binance Blockchain Week; I also got to meet many interesting people who became my lifelong friends. I'm honored to be part of this community and to contribute to its growth and development.
What are your passions and interests aside from crypto?
Ribka: I love to travel and I’m a PADI-certified, open water diver. I love swimming with sharks! I also enjoy going to the cinema as well as catching up with friends over a matcha latte.
Chibi: I’m a passionate person who tends to transform my passions into a career! Because of my love for Japanese anime, I now translate series for Netflix. I’m also an NFT Artist, and I regularly organize trips to Japan..
Dom: While I do dedicate most of my time to crypto, I’m also a massive tech enthusiast – I'm passionate about everything from computers and smartphones to electric cars!
