The U.S. Treasury is setting its sights on cryptocurrencies. Scott Bessent says digital assets can help keep the dollar on top. He also mentioned that they’re looking to stop banks from closing accounts belonging to crypto companies. Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin#cripto #bitcoin #Binance #currency Cryptocurrency is a form of digital asset that uses blockchain or similar distributed-ledger technology to record and transfer transactions. Unlike traditional currencies issued by governments or central banks, many cryptocurrencies operate through decentralized networks. Bitcoin is the first and most widely recognized cryptocurrency. It was introduced in 2009 and was designed as a peer-to-peer digital payment system that could operate without a central authority or traditional bank. Bitcoin transactions are recorded on a public blockchain, which helps verify and maintain the transaction history. Users generally access their crypto assets through digital wallets. A wallet does not actually store the coins; rather, it stores the private keys that provide access to the assets. Losing a private key or seed phrase can result in permanent loss of access. Cryptocurrency has attracted worldwide attention because of its potential uses in digital payments, financial technology, and blockchain-based applications. However, crypto assets also involve significant risks. Bitcoin prices can fluctuate substantially, and investors may face risks from scams, hacking, fraud, and loss of access to their assets. The U.S. SEC describes Bitcoin as a highly speculative investment and advises investors to carefully consider the risks before investing. Therefore, cryptocurrency and Bitcoin represent an important development in digital finance, but understanding their technology, risks, and security requirements is essential before using or investing in them. {alpha}(10x72e4f9f808c49a2a61de9c5896298920dc4eeea9) {spot}(BTCUSDT) {spot}(DOGEUSDT)

Criminal gangs rent vaults to hide cryptocurrency keys. Irish authorities have detected how criminal organizations combine cryptocurrencies, cash and luxury goods to conceal value. 🟢 The agency seized €230,000 from a safety deposit box at a private custody company. 🟢 Ireland plans to increase monitoring of cryptoasset service providers in 2027. Organized crime gangs in Ireland are renting private vaults to store private keys and seed phrases linked to their cryptocurrency wallets, according to Michael Gubbins, head of the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB). In these facilities, cash, luxury watches, handbags and passports have also been found. Gubbins told the Sunday Independent that the practice was detected during the agency’s own investigations and was later reported to the Government’s Money Laundering Steering Committee. For criminal organizations, keeping access credentials to their digital funds out of homes or offices could make it harder to locate them during a police operation. The discovery has a negative reading from the perspective of fighting crime, but it also exposes a fundamental feature of the ecosystem: self-custody allows whoever holds the keys to keep control of their funds without depending on a bank, a company or a central authority. Network rules do not change depending on who uses the asset. Cryptocurrencies are of interest to these criminal groups because they are perceived to offer greater anonymity and allow them to diversify risk in the face of possible seizures. However, this does not mean that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies were designed to facilitate crime, nor that their transactions are anonymous. Transactions are recorded on a public network and can be analyzed by investigators. $BTC {spot}(BTCUSDT) $USDC {spot}(USDCUSDT) $ETH {spot}(ETHUSDT) #seguridad #crypto

Goldman Sachs is moving major pieces in the crypto world. So let’s take it step by step. Here’s what I wish I’d known from day one. 1. It’s not all Bitcoin Bitcoin is digital gold. Ethereum is a platform for apps. Chainlink (LINK) connects those apps to real-world data, such as prices. Each project solves a different problem. 2. Buying 30 coins you don’t understand isn’t diversification—it’s guessing. 3. Have a plan before you get in Decide how much you’re going to invest, when you’ll take profits, and when you’ll cut your losses. People who trade without a plan end up trading on emotion. 4.
