🟡 Is
$BTC too expensive and
$XRP too cheap?
One of the first things I learned when investing in cryptocurrencies was something very important:
The price of a coin DOES NOT determine how much you can earn.
Imagine you have 10 USDT:
🟠 BTC = $77,300
🔵 XRP = $1.50
With 10 USDT you can buy:
BTC → approximately 0.000129 BTC
XRP → approximately 6.67 XRP
Now let’s assume both go up 50%.
BTC would go from $77,300 → $115,950.
Your 10 USDT → 15 USDT.
XRP would go from $1.50 → $2.25
Your 10 USDT → 15 USDT.
💡 The gain is the same because both increased by 50%.
So don’t think:
❌ “XRP costs $1.50, so it surely has more room to rise.”
Think:
✅ What percentage could it rise from the price I’m buying at?
And here’s another important difference:
BTC: can work as a main asset to accumulate over the long term.
XRP: can offer higher percentage-growth scenarios, but it also means taking on another level of uncertainty and risk.
That’s why, for me, the question is not simply:
¿BTC or XRP?
The right question is:
What role do I want each asset to play within my strategy?
📌 Don’t buy a cryptocurrency because “it looks cheap.” Analyze its potential growth percentage, its risk, and your investment time horizon.
