#BinanceUpdatesProofofReservesAddresses Binance Refreshes Its Proof of Reserves With New Wallet Addresses 🔐
Good news for Binance users: the exchange has updated its Proof of Reserves (PoR) list with a fresh set of wallet addresses. The move comes in direct response to the $6.3 billion hot wallet breach on October 29, 2026. Binance has set up brand-new storage infrastructure, and from now on, all customer withdrawals will flow through these newly created, secure addresses.
📊 Where Things Stand Now
• Fully backed: A new Proof of Reserves snapshot is out, showing that ten major assets (BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD, and ZEC) are backed at 1:1 or better.
• About 95% restored: Binance has covered roughly 95% of the affected funds, drawing on its own corporate reserves along with part of the Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU). The last 5% is made up of less liquid altcoins, which the exchange is gradually buying through over-the-counter (OTC) deals.
• Withdrawals are coming back: The first phase of withdrawals restarted on November 1, 2026, beginning with major networks such as Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain.
• Verify it yourself: The initial snapshot is already live on the Binance Proof of Reserves Portal. A zero-knowledge cryptographic proof (zk-SNARK) is still being processed and should be ready by Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Once it's done, you'll be able to check your own balance independently.
