Yes. This is called agent-to-agent commerce. It’s like one AI agent becomes the customer and another becomes the service provider. The first agent discovers the API negotiates terms if needed and pays for it. By itself.
Let’s take an example.
Suppose there’s an AI agent named "ResearchBot" that needs weather data for a project. It searches online. Finds a service called "WeatherAPI" that charges $0.10 per request. ResearchBot checks if it has credit in its account. If yes it sends a payment request directly to WeatherAPI.
