What is Binance Junior?

Binance Junior is a family-centric product that allows existing Binance users to create a sub-account for their children (6-18 years old), with the intent of fostering financial literacy and education while allowing users to invest on behalf of their children. Guardrails are in place to provide parents with peace of mind as they navigate the world of crypto together as a family.

From 19 Feb 2026, we are also introducing new features such as Merchant Pay and allowing non-parent adults to gift crypto to Juniors via Red Packet and P2P transfers. We have also ramped up educational features by integrating ABCs of Crypto directly into the Binance Junior app in the form of a mobile-friendly eBook that enables kids to learn all about crypto, one word at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Binance Junior Account?

The Binance Junior account is a family-centric and secure way for parents to introduce crypto to their kids. The account is opened as a sub-account of a parent's master account. The child's name will be added to identify the sub-account but the parent remains the legal owner of the Binance Junior account.

What features are enabled on the Binance Junior Account?

The Binance Junior account allows young users to earn crypto in the account via Junior Flexible Simple Earn (in jurisdictions where this feature is available), supporting early financial learning and savings for kids. Parents can transfer funds directly into the Binance Junior account via the Parent's master account, or deposit via on-chain transfers.
Users who are 13 (or higher depending on location) will also be allowed to transact with other Binance Junior accounts and their parental account, with daily limits applied. On-chain withdrawals, trading, and payment from Binance Junior accounts to non-parent adult users are restricted.

How many Binance Junior accounts can a single user open?

Each Parent account can create up to 5 Binance Junior accounts.

What transaction limits are placed on the Binance Junior accounts?

Binance Junior accounts can only transfer assets to other Junior accounts and their associated Parent account. Additionally, there is a 400 USD daily payment (send) limit for transfers to other Junior accounts and merchants (if this feature is enabled by their parent). Trading and on-chain withdrawals are not permitted on Binance Junior accounts.

Why do age restrictions for crypto transfer services (including Junior-to-Junior) vary by country?
