#baby $BABY I used to think Bitcoins biggest value was simple: The price The chart The number everyone watches But the more time I spend around crypto, the more I think I was focusing on the wrong thing. Bitcoin's biggest achievement isn't just creating an asset. It's creating a reason for so many people to belive, If anyone told people in 1980s "one day you will use money backed by math proof and they will exist because people agreed they exist and are valuable" -they would probably laughted at him. Today that is reality. We all heard the BTC Pizza story and we asay -why Lazlo paid 10 000 btc for a pizza , but what Lazlo did is created proof that BTC can be used as money. All thise examples talk about trust. Trustfull or trustless , without trust nothing would be as it is today in the crypto world. Another big idea in BTC is the network that can run for years without needing a company behind it, with security built through decentralization and consistency. That is what @babylonlabs_io understoood very well and they applied it to their model of work. No standard trade offs, as close to native BTC vision as they can get. The one and only realy decentralised asset. Babylon's approach with native BTC staking is what caught my attention. Instead of creating another version of BTC or adding more trust assumptions, the idea is to use Bitcoin's security to help strengthen PoS networks and this also changed how I look at crypto projects. I used to spend more time looking at price movements and narratives. Some worked. Some didn't. Now I ask a different question: Does this solve a problem that will still exist years from now? Security is one of those problems. Of course, a strong idea still needs execution, adoption, and developers building around it. But if crypto keeps moving toward stronger foundations- Bitcoin's security could become one of its most valuable resources. Maybe Bitcoin's future isn't only measured by its price. Maybe it's also measured by what it allows others to build.

#baby $BABY For years, Bitcoin holders have been told one simple thing: "Don't trust. Verify." And that idea changed everything. But then something interesting happened. People wanted to actually use their Bitcoin. They wanted liquidity without selling. They wanted access without giving up their BTC. And suddenly the question became: "Who do I trust with my Bitcoin?" A custodian? A bridge? A wrapped version? A third party holding the keys? That always felt like the biggest contradiction in BTCFi. Bitcoin solved the problem of ownership. But using that ownership in DeFi often came with new trust assumptions. That is the problem @babylonlabs_io is trying to solve with Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV). Not by creating another version of Bitcoin. Not by asking Bitcoin holders to abandon self-custody. But by allowing native BTC to be used as collateral while keeping Bitcoin itself at the center. You can borrow assets like USDC, USDT, or WBTC against your BTC instead of selling the asset you believe in. The part I find most interesting is not the borrowing. It is the question behind it: Can Bitcoin become more useful without becoming less Bitcoin? That is where BTCFi gets interesting. Because the future of Bitcoin might not only be about holding it. It might be about finding ways to use it while respecting the reason people chose it in the first place. Babylon didnt built another bridge, they built a new primitive.

#baby $BABY I expected the hardest part of testing @babylonlabs_io Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV) to be understanding the architecture. It wasn't. I ve been waiting close to three hours for Bitcoin confirmations. If this were almost any other asset, Id probably call it poor UX and moved on, but for BTC the answer came to me naturally . The more I thought about it, the less I saw it as a flaw. One of the promises of BTCFi has always been to let Bitcoin participate in on-chain finance without asking it to become something else first. For years, that usually meant accepting a trade off: wrap it, bridge it, or trust another party to custody it. TBV seems to start from a different assumption. Instead of changing Bitcoin to fit DeFi, it asks DeFi to work with native Bitcoin. If the public testnet is designed to behave like real BTC, then waiting for confirmations isn't something being hidden away its part of interacting with Bitcoin on Bitcoins own terms. That doesnt automatically make the waiting enjoyable, but it does make it easier to understand why its there. It dont need to be enjoyable, it need to be safe, that is what every Bitcoiner cares about mostly. It also made me think that maybe the next phase of BTCFi isn't about making Bitcoin feel more like every other chain. Maybe it's about building financial infrastructure that respects the properties Bitcoin users cared about from the beginning. I'll see if I still think that after I finish the native Bitcoin-backed borrowing flow and submit my feedback. $BABY {future}(BABYUSDT) Have you created your TBV on Babylon yet ?

#baby $BABY watching a @babylonlabs_io Babylon explainer video I learned more than I expected. The question why we dont see BTC so often in DeFi as Etherium. Native Bitcoin staking/collateral isn't an idea that was sitting around waiting for someone to build it. It literally couldnt exist until a specific stack of technology came together, piece by piece, over the last few years. The infrastructure was lacking so it can be done without any trade offs. Because Bitcoiners wont accept any tradeoffs and I must say I understand that completly. Four things had to happen first. - Taproot upgraded Bitcoin's scripting capabilities back in 2021. - BitVM-style constructions showed up from 2023 onward, opening the door to more complex logic on Bitcoin without changing its base rules. - Practical zero-knowledge proof systems matured enough by 2024 to be usable in production. - And then Babylon's own protocol design tied all of it together into something that actually works end to end. Thats the real story behind Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV) from Babylon. It's not a workaround that wraps your BTC into a synthetic token or routes it through a bridge you have to trust, it's native Bitcoin, used directly as collateral, with self-custody intact the entire time. Your keys never leave your control. The first application built on this is native Bitcoin-backed borrowing through Aave v4, live now on public testnet: deposit native BTC, borrow assets like USDC/USDT on Ethereum, no wrapping step anywhere in the process. What gets me is the timing. This wasn't possible even three years ago. The infrastructure had to catch up to the idea, and now it finally has. The diffrence ? We get to test iton the testrootmainet and report back, so buckle up, we are about to lift off into the world of Babylon and Aave! $BABY Did you managed to geton the testnet yet? {future}(BABYUSDT)
