I was right about $zec
. The liquidation engine didn't care.

My week in futures, real fills:
• BTC long 77,000 → 77,500.9: +$2.50
• ETH short 2,557 → 2,576: -$3.05
• ZEC short 1,441.12 → 1,431.32: +$2.82
• ZEC short again at 1,510 (0.233 ZEC, ~$352 notional)

That last one. Sep 21 the wick went to 1,573. I got force-closed at 1,567.28.
Move against me: 3.8%.
Loss: -$13.35 PnL + -$4.28 liquidation (insurance clear) fee = -$17.62.

Where did ZEC close that same day? 1,470.95.
Below my entry. The short would have been +$9.10.
Right direction. Wrong survival.

The math I skipped:
• Losing ~$17.6 of margin on a 3.8% move = roughly 20x effective leverage
• At 20x, liquidation sits ~5% away minus maintenance margin, so a normal ZEC day kills you
• ZEC's daily range this week: 1,428-1,534, 1,443-1,573, 1,445-1,653. Every single day moved 7-14% high to low
• The liquidation fee alone was 24% of the total loss. That's a tax on not having a stop

Scoreboard: 2 wins, 1 small loss, 1 liquidation.
50% win rate. Net realized: -$15.34.
Win rate is a vanity metric when one trade wipes out the other three 7x over.

Rule going forward: leverage = 1 / (daily range × 2). ZEC ranging ~10% a day → max ~5x. At 5x, that same 1,573 wick is a -$14.68 paper drawdown I'd still be sitting through, not a funeral.

Tiny size, expensive lesson. Better to pay it at $17 than at $1,700.

12/9: Mua dài STAR ở 0.0559, bán ở 0.0598. +$66. Cảm giác như thiên tài. 🧠

15/9: Mua lại ở 0.0449. Nó xuống, nên mình trung bình giá xuống ở 0.0429. Cổ điển.

16/9, 03:42: Cắt lỗ ở 0.0403. -$183. Đau, nhưng đúng nước.

16/9, 04:08: 26 phút sau mình nhảy thẳng vào lại, long ở 0.0412 với ~10x. Trade trả thù. 😤

17/9: STAR chạm 0.0371. Bị thanh lý. -$75 thêm. 💀

Tổng thiệt hại trên $STAR : khoảng -$193 tính cả phí và funding, trong khi lúc bắt đầu tuần thì đang +$66.

Thứ thật sự giết mình không phải đồng coin, mà là 26 phút đó:
❌ Trung bình giá xuống một vị thế futures đang rơi
❌ Quay lại vào ngay sau khi bị stop-out, chỉ để “gỡ lại”
❌ 10x trên một mid/small cap có thể biến động 10% lúc bạn ngủ

Stop-loss ở 0.0403 là quyết định tốt duy nhất. Rồi mình phá nó.

Quy tắc mới: sau một trade bị stop-out, không vào lại cùng coin đó trong 24h. 🔒

I wired an AI agent into Binance with full permissions. Spot, futures, convert, the lot.

Then I gave its wallet exactly $0. 💀

Results so far:
📈 Trades placed: 0
📉 Money lost: 0
🧠 Risk management rating: 10/10

Turns out the safest AI agent is a broke one. 😂

Real talk though: before you hand a bot real funds, set spend limits, whitelist the pairs it can touch, and start with money you'd be fine losing to a bug. Agents don't get tired, but they also don't get nervous. That's a feature AND a bug.
