The chart says $BNB is the only major in the green this week — and it's knocking on the top of its six-week range.
Friday's bid is real: +2.6% to $748 on $89M of Binance spot volume, while BTC chopped sideways under $82K and ETH flatlined. With the Oct 27–28 Fed meeting ahead, the tape is showing where the risk bid sits.
The why isn't a rumor — it's supply math. Four days ago, BNB Chain's 37th quarterly burn removed 1.646M BNB forever (~$1.2B); supply is ~131.5M, with BEP-95 burning fees in real time. Add a spot BNB ETF past $96M in net assets, and you have shrinking supply meeting a real bid.
Levels: resistance $750–$752 (six-week range top), support $730/$720. Invalidation: a 4h close under $720 kills the relative-strength story.
The honest risk: Q3 active addresses fell 14% — the network earned more but attracted fewer users. A bid on shrinking supply is not the same as growth.

$ALT is down 51% in twelve days — and the crowd has already priced in the October 25 unlock dump.
240.1M ALT unlocks in two days, roughly $1.8M today. The fear says it flushes. But the one dataset nobody is quoting says the opposite: across ALT's past unlocks, its own data shows low post-unlock volatility. The tape is selling the unlock before it lands — history suggests the unlock itself is rarely the event.
Binance spot took it $0.0156 to $0.0076 in twelve days, the 12-day low $0.00724. The biggest dump candle printed 1.1B ALT of volume — a flush, and flushes are where weak hands finish selling.
Support $0.00724, the flush low; a 4h close under it re-opens the all-time-low discussion around $0.0054. Resistance $0.0087, last week's congestion.
The honest risk: past unlocks happened in calmer tape, and a coin this close to its lows doesn't need an unlock to break — it needs a bid.
Is the unlock the dump — or is the dump already behind us? NFA. DYOR.
The Pentagon just declared prediction markets a national-security risk.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth barred all Pentagon staff on Tuesday from trading on nonpublic information — classified or not — including wagers on Kalshi and Polymarket about upcoming military operations. "Our enemies watch movements in these markets," he wrote; "the lives of our service members often depend on the enemy not knowing what is coming."
The trigger: Army soldier Gannon Ken Van Dyke's April indictment for allegedly turning classified advance knowledge of the operation that captured Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro into over $400,000 of Polymarket bets. He has pleaded not guilty. Israel made similar arrests in February.
One caveat: the memo bans DoD insiders, not prediction markets themselves — Kalshi and Polymarket keep trading. But if the world's most informed traders are told to sit out, the order book loses its edge. Do these markets get dumber — or cleaner? NFA. DYOR.
The memecoin gauge just beat the broad altcoin index four-to-one (+2.9% vs +0.7%) — and $PEPE is carrying it.
This is a second leg, and the case study is right there on the chart. Leg one: a slow +27% grind from $0.00000376 (Oct 13) to $0.00000479 (Oct 21). Leg two: today's vertical +13% to a fresh 12-day high at $0.00000511, on $74.6M of Binance spot volume alone — the biggest memecoin advance in a month.
Second legs of meme rotations are where the tape pays — and where it flushes. The Oct-21 peak is now first support; how price behaves at $0.00000479 decides whether this leg extends or repeats the -10% pullback that followed leg one.
Levels: resistance $0.00000511 (today's high), support $0.00000479 (leg-one peak). Invalidation: a 4h close under $0.00000433.
The honest risk: no catalyst. Rotation, not fundamentals — vertical candles flush as fast as they print. NFA. DYOR.
Does $PEPE hold above $0.00000479 into the weekend, or does leg two flush back to $0.00000433?
Hong Kong's watchdog just put a familiar name on its warning list.
The SFC has added "BTCC" to its Alert List of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms. The entity runs via btcc.com under BTCC Poland Limited, holds no SFC license, and is suspected of unlicensed activities in Hong Kong — listed by the regulator itself on Oct 22.
A listing is a warning, not a shutdown: no freeze of user funds is alleged, and the action covers Hong Kong, not the platform's global business. But the SFC's message to retail is the part that lands — unlicensed venues offer no legal recourse if something goes wrong.
Why it matters: checking a regulator's public list is the cheapest due diligence in crypto, and most investors never do it. Today's list gets ten seconds; tomorrow's "incident thread" gets ten hours.
When did you last check whether your exchange is actually licensed where you trade?
Starting next month, every GPU job on Aethir's network starts feeding a daily $ATH burn.
The network announced this week it will burn a share of network fees every day from November, with a burn dashboard going live on the first burn. More compute reservations, bigger burns; fixed fees become floating, and the ACCELERATE build-out adds US and European compute sites into the same pipeline.
The tension: nobody knows the burn rate. The formula's details and actual fee volumes are still unknowns — the network itself says fees can drop to zero in weak markets.
$ATH is up ~9.5% in 24h to $0.00644, testing $0.0068. Support $0.0060, the pre-pop base; a 4h close under $0.0060 ends the momentum read. The honest risk: the headline is two days old, $ATH trades ~96% below its 2024 high, and 20B of 42B max supply is circulating.
Save these levels: $0.0060 decides the momentum read, $0.0068 is the break test. If November's burns beat the market's guess — where does ATH find its real ceiling? NFA. DYOR.
South Korea's central bank is about to see every crypto transfer that crosses its borders.
Starting in December, domestic exchanges and virtual-asset providers must file daily reports to the Bank of Korea on every crypto transfer to overseas exchanges and personal wallets — time, coin, won amount, fees, sender and recipient. Reports land by 11am the next business day.
On top of that: monthly holdings reports for anyone with even one cross-border transfer on record since July 2024. That's 1.27 million users at the country's five biggest exchanges. Dormant accounts, delisted tokens and staked assets all count.
The honest caveat: the final scope lands in November, and the central bank says it may soften the retroactive reach and ease the load on smaller operators.
Why it matters: Korea is pulling crypto flows inside the same foreign-exchange monitoring that governs its currency — capital-controls logic applied to coins. Does this drag the kimchi-premium trade into the light, or just push it off the regulated rails? NFA. DYOR.
Three central banks just agreed to make stablecoins actually usable across borders.
Malaysia's Bank Negara and the Bank of Thailand joined Singapore's BLOOM initiative on Friday as policymaker members, working with the Monetary Authority of Singapore to standardize how regulated stablecoins and tokenized deposits get accepted, exchanged and settled across borders.
BLOOM — Borderless, Liquid, Open, Online, Multi-currency — launched in October 2025. Its roster now includes Mastercard, Visa, Ripple, Airwallex and the World Bank Group, all working on three fronts: cross-border acceptance and settlement, interoperability between digital money systems, and programmable controls covering identity verification and sanctions screening.
The honest caveat: this is a standards exercise, not a product launch — frameworks like this take years to become real.
But it's the part people underestimate. Stablecoin volume is huge, yet settling across different digital money systems and jurisdictions is still friction-heavy. Common frameworks could cut costs and speed deployment. Malaysia has already announced ringgit stablecoin tests for 2026 — will more central banks follow Singapore's lead?
September: $AKE 's unlock landed and the token bled 46% in five days. October's unlock was the week's largest — ~$63M, 2.1B tokens, 9.25% of circulating supply. It landed Wednesday.
The feared dump came: a -38% intraday flush to $0.0212 on the heaviest volume in 12 days. Then the story split from September. The flush got absorbed. $AKE is up ~45% in 24 hours to $0.0316, knocking on $0.037 — the resistance that capped it last week.
Two reads, same chart: Bull: absorption — September's sellers are gone, the overhang got eaten on the flush. Bear: a -38% flush is distribution too — 1.04B tokens went to investors, and ~$63M of new supply still dwarfs $15M daily volume.
Levels: support $0.021 (the flush base), resistance $0.037, invalidation a 4h close under $0.021.
Is this the end of unlock-fear season — or the relief rally before the overhang comes back? NFA. DYOR.
Thursday's ETF buying spree died on Friday. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs bled $635.6M on Thursday — the largest single-day outflow of the week. BlackRock's IBIT lost $254.1M, Fidelity's FBTC $217.5M, and every major fund printed red except Morgan Stanley's tiny MSBT. One day erased ~59% of the $1.075B the funds pulled in over the prior three sessions.
$BTC dipped under $82K overnight and is hovering near $81,760 — right around the estimated $81.5K average cost basis of ETF buyers, the same line that held Thursday's $80,940 low.
Why it matters: Thursday flipped the week's narrative from "institutions are back" to "ETF demand is momentum money." The four-session week still ended +$439M net — but the heaviest redemptions landed exactly when equities and oil wobbled (Nasdaq -2.6%, Brent $112).
Would you rather see spot demand come from ETF buyers or from holders who don't sell on red days? DYOR.
Crypto's biggest bust of the year didn't happen on-chain.
A UAE-led operation called Confrontation Ghost — 30 countries, INTERPOL, and 13 private firms including Meta, Mastercard, Huawei and Crypto.com — just reported the results of its three-month run: over $39 billion in funds and crypto linked to scam networks identified, 960+ arrests, and 29 fraud compounds raided.
The targets: AI-enabled fraud, digital financial crime, and online extortion schemes. Investigators traced 15,500+ victims and 3,500 suspects, shut down 570 social-media accounts, and flagged 4,126 bank accounts. Recovery of the identified assets is still ongoing — that $39B figure is flagged and identified, not yet seized.
The detail worth sitting with is the playbook: agencies supplied the legal authority while private firms supplied the on-chain forensics. Crypto crime crosses borders by default, so the response has to as well.
The honest caveat: real arrests, real scale — but scam infrastructure rebuilds fast. For every compound raided, how many operations are already one step ahead of the forensics?
The loneliest green candle in crypto: $M is the only top-100 coin up today.
Bitcoin fell ~3%, the market with it. MemeCore ripped 18% to $0.89 on its LayerZero/Stargate integration — live on BNB Chain and Base. Textbook relative strength on the surface.
The myth: green on a red day means buyers are back. The pop ran on ~$3.88M of volume against a ~$2B market cap — a thin bid, not a crowd. M fell 30% in the week after the bridge announcement. Oct 22 volume was the largest in 12 days — something real showed up, but "real" is relative here.
Resistance $0.97 (the pop high), support $0.74 (the recent base). A 4h close under $0.74 brings back the $0.66 lows; a reclaim above $0.97 opens the run toward $1.00.
The other side: M sits ~81% below its April high, analysts flag insider supply control, and meme rallies cut both ways. NFA. DYOR.
Is this relative strength the market sniffing a bid — or just the thinnest green candle in a sea of red?
Bitcoin's December just got a rate-hike problem — from Tokyo.
Japan's September core CPI rose to 2.1%, crossing the Bank of Japan's 2% target for the first time since December. It matched forecasts, but removes the doves' last excuse: dissenters who voted against September's 1.25% hike argued inflation was still below target. It isn't anymore.
Reuters sources say the BOJ will likely use next week's meeting to signal underlying inflation has roughly hit 2% — keeping a December hike to 1.50% on the table. And it's not alone: CME FedWatch puts an 80.5% chance on a Fed hike by December 9, with the BOJ meeting December 17–18.
Why it matters: two of the world's biggest central banks tightening in the same month would tighten global liquidity — the classic headwind for risk assets. $BTC sits near $82K (-1.0%/24h) heading into it. Counterweight: some of this is already priced — polls already lean toward a December hike, and 2.1% matching forecast exactly isn't a shock.
Does December's crypto rally thesis survive two rate hikes?
A Senate letter just put Tether's stablecoin empire in the ethics spotlight.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal — ranking Democrat on the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations — sent letters Thursday to Tether and Nxum Group, ex-White House crypto adviser Bo Hines's firm. The trigger: a Wall Street Journal report that Nxum took large consulting payments from Tether while Hines was still advising the administration on stablecoin rules. Hines now runs Tether's US arm.
Blumenthal called the arrangement "highly unusual," saying Tether was "likely well aware of the illegality and impropriety" of paying a White House official shaping rules central to its business. Tether's response: external counsel already ran an "in-depth internal investigation" and "found no evidence of wrongdoing."
Why it matters: a second front against the world's largest stablecoin issuer, on top of the Iran-report fight. But a letter is a request, not a finding — and his party is in the minority. That changes fast if Democrats retake the Senate.
Does crypto policy get made in the open — or does this explain why stablecoin rules looked so issuer-friendly?
Russia flipped the script: the same central bank that proposed banning crypto in 2022 is now licensing its biggest banks as crypto exchanges.
The Bank of Russia's crypto exchange register hit 17 firms this week, with Sberbank and VTB — the country's two largest banks — holding both trading and custody licences. VTB plans to open crypto trading to retail through its VTB My Investments app in November; Sberbank targets December 1 and is already testing BTC, ETH and USDT trades inside its app.
The guardrails are tight: retail buyers get only the most liquid coins, capped at 300,000 rubles (~$3,800) a year per intermediary, and only after passing a test. Domestic crypto payments stay banned.
Why it matters: a sanctioned economy wiring crypto into its largest retail banks is a structural demand channel — regulated plumbing, not retail FOMO. From July 2027, all Russian crypto trading must flow through registered intermediaries.
No instant tape reaction — $BTC holds $81.7K, barely moved. Structure compounds in months, not hours. Not financial advice — DYOR.
If Russia's biggest banks are selling crypto by December, which major economy's banks move next?
HSBC just put a stablecoin in 3.3 million pockets.
RedCoin — HSBC's Hong Kong dollar-backed stablecoin — went live on its PayMe payments app this morning, licensed by the HKMA under Hong Kong's Stablecoins Ordinance. Users can activate a wallet with no minimum balance, send money instantly to friends, and pay at more than 100,000 merchants. Full availability is expected before the weekend.
The bigger tell is what follows: HSBC plans to add a RedCoin wallet to its main Hong Kong mobile banking app by year-end, letting ordinary customers subscribe to tokenized money market funds from just HK$100 — then expand into wholesale and institutional services.
Why it matters: this is the first large-scale, bank-led stablecoin rollout under a full licensing regime — regulated, mainstream, and aimed at payments, not speculation. Hong Kong now has two licensed issuers live (Anchorpoint's HKDAP started in August).
The honest caveat: RedCoin isn't exchange-tradable, so this won't move $BTC . Anything trading under the RedCoin name on an exchange is a fake — the HKMA already warned about look-alikes. Not financial advice — DYOR.
Will 3.3M people onboarded through an app they already use do more for real adoption than any CEX listing?
6-oktabr: maxfiylik sektori qizib ketdi — kapital Zcash jamoasidagi mojarodan chiqib ketar ekan, DASH 125% ko‘tarilib, $79.60 ga yetdi. Bir necha hafta o‘tib, narx yana $46 atrofigacha tushdi. Bugun: Bitcoin $82K darajasini ushlab tura olmayotgan bir paytda, +9% bilan $55.50 ga chiqdi.
Men 28-oktabrdagi stavka qarori oldidan aynan shu kapital oqimini kuzatyapman. Bozor tushib, bitta tanga o‘sayotganida, savdolar kapital qayerda hanuz o‘z ulushini saqlab qolmoqchi ekanini ko‘rsatadi. Grafik tuzilmasi ham buni tasdiqlaydi: 20-oktabrdan beri $48.50–$51 oralig‘i har bir sinovda o‘zini tutib keldi, narx esa $50 atrofidagi harakatlanuvchi o‘rtachalar klasteridan yuqoriga qaytdi.
Darajalar: • Qo‘llab-quvvatlash: $48.50–$51 (so‘nggi minimumlar + harakatlanuvchi o‘rtachalar klasteri) • Qarshilik: $55.98 (bugungi maksimum), undan keyin $79.60 • Ssenariy bekor bo‘lishi: 4 soatlik sham $49 dan pastda yopilsa — zona buziladi va $46 darajasi yana kun tartibiga qaytadi
Qarama-qarshi omil: bu yorib o‘tish avval ham muvaffaqiyatsiz bo‘lgan, $79.60 dan pastga tushish chog‘ida esa pul oqimi ma’lumotlari aktivlar sotilganini ko‘rsatgan. Maxfiylik tokenlaridagi rallilar derivativlar bozorida keskin qiziydi — bu ikki tomonga ham ishlashi mumkin.
Hali ham o‘zining eng yuqori darajasidan 43% pastda. $55.98 darajasi yorib o‘tilib, narx cho‘qqilar sari yuguradimi — yoki avval $49 buziladimi? NFA. DYOR.
South Korea's crypto rulebook is almost done — and the tax fight is flaring up at the same time.
FSC Chair Lee Eog-weon told a National Assembly committee Thursday that consultations on the Digital Asset Basic Act are "nearing completion" and it will be introduced as soon as possible. It would set exchange licensing, stablecoin issuance rules, and clearer legal definitions.
Yet the 22% crypto tax (20% national plus 2% local on gains above 2.5M won) could take effect on January 1, 2027 before the framework exists. Delayed three times, it faces two 50,000-signature petitions — one for repeal, one for a two-year deferral. Ruling-party leader Kim Min-seok promises a "thorough final review" — a softer posture. The tax authority still plans its notice draft October 30 and public notice November 30.
South Korea is one of Asia's busiest crypto markets — rules first or tax first sets the template for the region.
Tape context only: $BTC ~$81,508 (-2.4%/24h).
Should taxation wait until the licensing framework is law — or does another delay just reward a year of regulatory limbo? NFA — do your own research.
26-oktabrdagi Hoodi faollashtirilishidan to‘rt kun oldin, dasturchilar ACDE #248 call yig‘ilishida forkni bekor qilish uchun ovoz berishdi — ijro qatlami, konsensus qatlami va rejalashtirilgan 200M gaz limiti oshirilishi bekor qilindi. Yangi sana belgilanmadi.
Bunga ChainSecurity kompaniyasining 13-oktabr kuni EIP-8037/8038 bo‘yicha o‘tkazgan tahlili sabab bo‘ldi. Bu takliflar Ethereum gazni qanday hisoblashini o‘zgartiradi. Kompaniya o‘zgartirilmagan kod boshqacha ishlashi mumkinligi haqida ogohlantirdi — “ilgari tranzaksiyani bekor qilgan xatolik yo‘li endi yakunlanishi mumkin” — va 13 ta ilovaga ta’sir qilishi mumkinligini aytdi.
Nega bu muhim: Glamsterdam Ethereum’ning navbatdagi hard fork’i (taklif qiluvchi va quruvchi rollarini ajratish, blok darajasidagi kirish ro‘yxatlari) bo‘lib, dekabr boshida mainnetda ishga tushish rejalari Hoodi muammosiz ishlashiga bog‘liq edi. Endi bu jadval shubha ostida. Boshqa tomoni: testnetda gaz hisobidagi xatoni aniqlash — jarayon mo‘ljallanganidek ishlayotganini ko‘rsatadi; Sepolia 6-oktabrda reja bo‘yicha faollashtirildi.
Hoodi blokcheynining tarixi o‘zgarishsiz qoldi; mainnet foydalanuvchilari yoki $ETH holders hech qanday chora ko‘rishi shart emas. Bozor holati xolos: $ETH ~$2,397 (-2.3%/24h).
Xavfsizlik sababli kechiktirilgani Ethereum muhandislik intizomiga bo‘lgan ishonchingizni OSHIRADIMI — yoki yangilanish ko‘lami aytilganidan xavfliroq bo‘lganmi? Bu moliyaviy maslahat emas — o‘zingiz mustaqil izlaning.
CoinDCX's $16M mystery just got darker — the new accusations point at its own reserve list.
Salus CMO Darcy traced two addresses from CoinDCX's proof-of-reserves report sending funds to the hacker's address, noting the hot wallet kept distributing 15 TRX gas before and after what the exchange calls the breach: "Are you suggesting that the hackers were handling gas funding distribution for you?"
The flows reached OKX (~5.47M USDT), Binance (~2.02M) and Gate (~1.39M) — with some landing at Huione and Xinbi, Telegram marketplaces Elliptic ties to large-scale laundering.
ZachXBT pushed co-founder Gupta to admit a deposit address kept sweeping user funds ~10 months after the July 2025 hack. CoinDCX told Hindu BusinessLine its deposit-sweeping "failed for a particular period," causing "operational losses, which were absorbed by CoinDCX."
Counterweight: CoinDCX says no current wallet was touched and no user funds were lost — but researchers aren't courts.
If the hacker's wallet sat on CoinDCX's own reserve list, who answers for the $16M — the hacker, or the exchange?
