Price starts breaking out of a local range, OI rises, and new positions enter the market. If liquidity above the price is thin, the move can accelerate fast.
What to look for:

— OI rising together with price
— volume above average
— price holding above VWAP
— RSI rising without extreme overheating
— thin liquidity above the current price
This setup is especially visible on thin, low-liquidity coins. It does not take much capital to push them significantly higher.
📈 Rising OI alone is not enough. If too many longs pile in, the same move can quickly reverse and flush them through liquidations.
The stronger setup is the combination of OI growth + volume + structure break + level hold.
