Businesspeople may travel to Europe before the end of the year: They work toward goals related to production and exports Felipe Capozzolo, president of Fedecámaras, said that the Venezuelan Association of Exporters will periodically provide statistical data on Venezuela’s imports and exports. The Federation of Chambers and Trade and Production Associations of Venezuela (Fedecámaras) and the Venezuelan Association of Exporters (AVEX) recently signed a memorandum of understanding, with the aim of working on new projects related to Venezuela’s production and export capacity. In that regard, Felipe Capozzolo, president of Fedecámaras, said on his social media that there is the possibility—before the end of this year—of organizing a trip to Europe focused on “new goals.” The document was signed by the presidents of Fedecámaras, Felipe Capozzolo, and AVEX, Gustavo González Velutini, who expressed their satisfaction with the benefits this agreement will bring to both business organizations. Capozzolo added that the memorandum of understanding includes that the Venezuelan export sector will periodically provide Fedecámaras with statistical information on imports and exports of Venezuela. He also said they will have to provide data on the relevant figures for the Venezuelan products most in demand abroad. “This data will be used to feed the exports segment of the Panorama Bulletin, developed by Fedecámaras’ Economic Analysis Unit, which provides a complete overview of the economy’s performance,” he added. #EEUU #Europe #Europa #empresas #economy $BLESS $LPT $Q

Román Maniglia: Modernization, digitization and automation are the pillars of the new tax model

Román Maniglia, superintendent of the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (Seniat), emphasized that an action roadmap must be set «to simplify procedures and facilitate the formalization of all sectors» of the country

The superintendent of the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (Seniat), Román Maniglia, reported that they have begun working roundtables with professionals from the tax and customs directorates across the country, «so that we can get on the same wavelength and learn about the opportunities that will make tax collection more efficient and effective» for the nation.

In this regard, he noted on his social networks that they have begun «the great challenge» at the helm of Seniat with a vision to transform the tax and customs model through modernization, digitization and automation, to create a new tax culture that contributes to the prosperity and growth of the country.

He said that an action roadmap must be set «to simplify procedures and facilitate the formalization of all sectors while we increase tax revenue».

Inspection of the main customs ports
On another matter, Román Maniglia highlighted that they began inspecting the country’s main customs ports, starting in La Guaira, which—given the effects of the devastating double earthquake—«we have joined in a single spirit of solidarity to together build that rebirth of hope for our beloved Venezuela».

«Everything for the country, for our people, for their well-being, and to keep forging the path of prosperity,» he said, adding that «we must work with efficiency, transparency, transformation—in change and in digital automation».

The deadline is shortened for the review of oil contracts signed by Venezuela with companiesinternational This deadline was established so that the Ministry of Hydrocarbons can evaluate and adjust existing oil businesses: mixed companies, productive participation contracts, service agreements, and technical-financial strategic alliances. The next July 28 marks the deadline of the 180 days set for the review of the oil contracts signed by Venezuela with various international companies. Although companies that do not manage to migrate their contracts before the deadline will not lose their rights, they could be left out of the new tax benefits established in the Reform to the Hydrocarbons Law.
