For the Chamber of Commerce of Maracaibo, these results reaffirm the importance of having periodic and reliable information about local business activity, as a tool to understand market transformations and contribute to the construction of decisions and policies aimed at strengthening the conditions to invest, produce, and generate employment in the locality.
The business fabric of Maracaibo maintains its capacity to adapt and remain active, but it faces an increasingly demanding environment in which to operate. This is one of the main conclusions drawn from the results of our research: the Commercial Census of the main roadway corridors of Maracaibo and Shopping Centers, and the corresponding Economic Situation Survey for the second quarter of 2026.
