$NOM This move I’ll first watch and not treat an increase in volume as a breakout right away. On Binance spot, the 08:30 and 08:45 15-minute candles had about 860k and 1.4M USDT in traded value. The price was pushed from around 0.00210 up to 0.00257; but at 09:00 it touched 0.002664 and then closed at 0.002441. At 09:45 it rebounded and closed at 0.002550, yet it still didn’t manage to get above the previous high. The most obvious thing in the chart isn’t a single big bullish candle—it’s that after the spike, the volume is still there, but the price starts to swing back and forth.

Open interest rose from about 2.056B NOM at 07:40 to about 2.654B at 10:05—up nearly 30%. The overall long/short ratio at 10:10 is still around 2.15. The increase is in bidirectional contracts, not equal to net buying pressure, and you can’t use the account ratio alone as a proxy for whale positions. If spot liquidity/absorption can’t keep up, adding positions could actually amplify the pullback risk.

I’ll wait for the 1-hour candle to close above 0.00266 and for spot volume to continue before discussing continuation.
