We are stress testing the Newton Mainnet Beta. Most L1s hide their policy enforcement behind "decentralized" theater. We are doing the opposite. Newton Protocol hard-codes invariant checks directly into the state machine.
Trade off? Sure throughput takes a hit. But when the runtime verifies every execution path against formal specs, you don't need a dev team playing whack a mole with patch updates. It is raw it is rigid and it is meant to break bad actors not dev velocity.
