Binance is giving the big whales a taste of institutional life by opening Capital Connect to users with $1M plus in assets. Professional strategies are no longer just for the institutions.

Binance Capital Connect has lowered the barrier for retail investors: complete KYC and meet VIP level 3 or above, or have total assets on-platform valued at ≥ US$1,000,000, or submit proof of equivalent external assets—then you can enter this strategy market to view portfolios.

Previously, it was mainly aimed at institutional-side users who completed KYB. The official announcement states that the relevant eligibility requirements take effect starting from 2026-09-14.

In the same period, CNBC reported that as of September there are about 212 portfolios and 77 professional trading teams on the platform, up from 106 portfolios and 35 teams in May.

For investors, if no subscription request is submitted within 12 months after obtaining access to Capital Connect, the account will be disabled. The platform will send reminders 60 days, 30 days, and 7 days before the shutdown. After the shutdown, investors may reapply after 180 days and must pass the standard eligibility review.
