I've spent years watching people describe frictionless stock access. Last night was the first time I actually believed it — and I'm still not sure that's a good thing. The gap between "you can own a fraction of a US stock" and the experience of doing it — the brokerage forms, the wire instructions, the 3-day settlement, the jurisdiction walls — that gap is where most people quietly give up.

The custody model matters here. Tokenized securities backed 1:1, issued under an FSRA-approved Prospectus in the ADGM — that's a specific legal claim, not a general one. But the real question isn't whether tokenized stocks work. It's whether investors will eventually trust a tokenized claim on an asset as much as they trust the asset itself.
