Pump.fun ($PUMP) is the token behind Solana's biggest memecoin launchpad.

3 REASONS TO BUY

1. Real revenue, real buybacks. Pump.fun has generated ~$1.86B in cumulative fees and spent $350M+ buying back and burning PUMP, retiring ~33% of circulating supply. 50% of net fees now auto-route to buyback-and-burn. Actual cash flow behind a memecoin token is rare.

2. Category leader with momentum. It still dominates Solana memecoin launches, and the recent 20-30% surge came on renewed memecoin interest, a public long from trader Ansem, and rising open interest.

3. Deeply discounted. PUMP trades ~81% below its September ATH and below its $0.004 ICO price. If fees hold, the buyback flow is a structural bid under the price.

3 REASONS NOT TO BUY

1. Insider supply and unlocks. Only ~59% of supply circulates and insiders hold roughly half. Large unlocks (like the July 12 unlock worth ~$127M) drop into thin daily volume, and critics say insiders may sell into the buybacks for exit liquidity.

2. Legal and regulatory overhang. A ~$500M lawsuit, rising regulatory scrutiny and EU DAC8 reporting all threaten the fee engine. Weaker fees mean weaker buybacks.

3. Buybacks haven't lifted price yet and the moat is thin. Despite $350M in buybacks, PUMP is still down ~81%. The platform carries a very high scam/rug rate, the bonding-curve model is easy to copy, and memecoin sentiment flips fast.

Bottom line: PUMP is one of the few memecoin-linked tokens with real revenue, but supply unlocks and legal risk are just as real. Do your own research.
