$RUNE had a nice little pop to 0.71 on big volume and then gave all of it back in one candle 😅

now sitting around 0.638, back under both 4H EMAs near 0.658. down about 8% on the day while most majors are flat.

for me 0.615 is the floor that matters, it held twice this month. a 4H close under that and I think 0.58 area opens up.
if it gets back over 0.66 and holds, then that wick was just a shakeout and 0.67 to 0.71 is back on the table.

背景：ZEC 原生兑换早前因出站匹配 bug 触发 vault slash，约 140 枚 RUNE 从 18 个节点保证金里扣掉；官方称用户和金库资金没丢。ZEC、SOL 交易目前仍停着。v3.21 会修 ZEC 出站匹配、接上 Solana 新交易格式，顺带处理限价单状态膨胀、Affiliate 分账等问题。Bybit 也公告：约 21:30（UTC 13:30）起暂停 RUNE 充提，交易不受影响。

升级落地后，ZEC/SOL 还要节点再投票解除 halt 才能真正恢复——今晚先过完高度这关。

THORChain is turning the lights back on.

The network's v3.21 upgrade — cut October 19, activating at block 28,366,100 around October 23 — patches the FIN contract exploit that froze Rujira's app layer since September 26. Only one position was hit, a team-owned one; Rujira says no user funds were lost.

But this is bigger than one fix: the same release restores Solana trading (halted by a new Solana transaction type), Zcash swaps (an outbound matching bug caused a vault slash, no funds lost), limit swaps, and SwapKit affiliate payouts — plus a new Streaming Yield feature for bond providers. Rujira also proposes a 24-hour grace window for underwater borrowers before liquidations restart.

The honest caveats: the binary ships with undisclosed private security patches, and XMR still isn't coming — Monero fixes land in 3.21.1.

A network that pauses trading is fine; a network that stays paused isn't. If October 23 goes smoothly, does this upgrade become the template for how DeFi networks ship their way out of exploit freezes? NFA. DYOR.

　　值得留意的是清算安排。10 月 15 日的方案给了有条件宽限期：应用层准备恢复时，如果任何信用账户头寸的贷款价值比高于 100% 且符合清算条件，会请求节点运营商把信用账户合约再暂停 24 小时，让借款人有时间补抵押品。10 月 10 日团队也提示过，宽限期后仍不安全的头寸会被清算人触发清算。

　　对 $RUNE 持有者来说，这次升级是一次压力测试后的修复，节奏偏慢但流程完整；对在 Rujira 上有借贷头寸的人，10 月 23 日前后那 24 小时才是需要盯的窗口。
