Imagine a market where people trade contracts based on questions such as:

Will inflation rise or fall?

Will a particular event happen?

Will a central bank change interest rates?

The value of a contract depends on the outcome and the platform’s rules.

📈 Why are crypto companies interested?

Prediction markets can attract users who want to trade on real-world events, not just Bitcoin or altcoins.

For exchanges, that could mean another source of revenue.

For users, it creates a new way to express a view on future events — but also introduces serious risks.

⚠️ Three things to understand:

1️⃣ Being right is not always enough. The contract price, fees and settlement rules affect your result.
