Imagine opening a crypto trade and watching your margin disappear after a tiny price movement.
That’s what extreme leverage can do. 👇
New data reported by Binance News reveals alarming results from Papertrade’s 1,000x leverage trading.
📊 THE NUMBERS:
🔴 5,836 addresses used 1,000x leverage.
🔴 4,395 experienced at least one liquidation.
🔴 That’s approximately 75.3%!
💸 Around $20 MILLION in isolated margin losses from liquidated 1,000x positions.
⏱️ Median time to liquidation: JUST 7 MINUTES, 35 SECONDS.
HERE’S THE DANGEROUS PART:
At 1,000x leverage, a 0.1% adverse price movement can theoretically wipe out your initial margin, even before accounting for fees and maintenance requirements.
You don’t need a market crash to lose your position.
🕌 FOR MUSLIM CRYPTO INVESTORS:
High-leverage derivatives raise important questions about excessive uncertainty, speculation, financing arrangements, and Shariah compliance.
Don’t assume that a product is suitable simply because it’s available on a cryptocurrency platform.
📌 SAVE THIS REMINDER:
High leverage doesn’t create free money. It magnifies exposure to risk.
Would you ever consider trading with 1,000x leverage?
October 10, 2025, became one of crypto’s most painful days.
📉 Over $19 BILLION in leveraged positions liquidated.
👥 Approximately 1.62 MILLION accounts affected.
⚠️ Some assets experienced extraordinary price dislocations.
But here’s the lesson many investors overlook.
During the crash, USDe temporarily traded near $0.65 on Binance, even while maintaining prices closer to $1 elsewhere.
A stable target price doesn’t eliminate market risk.
Before trusting any crypto asset, ask:
1️⃣ What actually supports its value?
2️⃣ Can it be redeemed during a market crisis?
3️⃣ What happens when trading liquidity disappears?
4️⃣ Does its structure depend on derivatives or other financial arrangements?
🕌 For Muslim investors:
Financial stability and Shariah compliance are separate questions.
Understanding how an asset maintains its value, generates returns, and handles financial obligations is essential before making an investment decision.
Neither a stable price target nor an exchange listing establishes Shariah compliance.
📌 Save these four questions for your next crypto research session.
Which risk do you think investors underestimate most: leverage, liquidity, or redemption risk?
Binance says users can also convert direct stock holdings into corresponding bStocks 1:1 with zero conversion fees, while Convert support follows within one hour of the Spot listing.
But here’s the part Muslim investors shouldn’t overlook:
⚠️ A tokenized security is not automatically identical to owning the underlying share.
Binance explicitly states that bStocks “are not stocks or shares” and do not provide direct ownership of shares in the underlying listed company.
So Shariah research shouldn’t stop at:
“Is the company Shariah-compliant?”
You also need to understand:
→ What exactly does the token represent? → What ownership/right does the holder receive? → How does redemption work? → What contracts sit between the token and underlying security? → Are you using Spot, or adding Margin/leverage on top?
I’m not declaring JPMB, LLYB, SECZB or USDEB halal or haram.
📌 Same price exposure does not necessarily mean the same financial contract.
Would you like a full Tokenized Stocks vs Real Stocks breakdown for Muslim investors?
All four can trade 24/7 with leverage up to 20×, while funding is settled every eight hours.
But Muslim investors should understand one crucial distinction:
⚠️ Trading MCDUSDT is NOT the same transaction as buying McDonald’s stock.
A perpetual contract gives price exposure to an underlying asset without ordinary ownership of that stock. It can also involve:
→ leverage and margin → liquidation risk → periodic funding payments → derivative exposure rather than ownership of the underlying shares
So even if someone has already researched whether a particular company’s shares satisfy their chosen Shariah-screening methodology, that does not automatically answer whether a leveraged perpetual contract referencing those shares is permissible.
I’m not issuing a halal/haram ruling on these contracts.
📌 Research the financial instrument — not just the company behind the ticker.
Should I make a simple “Stock vs Tokenized Stock vs Perpetual Contract” guide for Muslim investors?
Binance Wallet has officially opened the Doppler Finance (XDP) Alpha airdrop.
Current claim conditions:
• Minimum: 230 Binance Alpha Points • Reward: 1,666 XDP • Claim cost: 15 Alpha Points • Distribution: first-come, first-served • If tokens remain, the threshold falls by 5 points every 5 minutes • Claims must be confirmed on the Alpha Events page within 24 hours
⚠️ Remember: getting an airdrop does not automatically mean the token is a good investment.
🕌 For Muslim crypto users, treat the free allocation separately from the project itself. Before buying additional XDP, research what Doppler Finance actually does, its token utility, tokenomics and the financial structures behind the protocol.
