Gold Futures Rises in U.S. Trading
Gold futures prices rose in U.S. trading on Friday.
On COMEX, a division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for December delivery are trading at $4,675.40 per troy ounce, up 2.28% at the time of writing.
The session high was $100.00 per troy ounce. At the time of writing, gold found support at $4,378.00 and resistance at $4,690.11.
The USD index futures, which measure the greenback's value against a basket of six major currencies, rose 0.06% to $98.75.
Other commodities traded on the COMEX, silver futures for September delivery rose 1.82% to $69.35 per troy ounce, while copper futures for September delivery rose 1.76% to $6.58 per pound.
