CPI is coming, and the market is already positioning for the next Fed decision.

The latest jobs data showed strength, but that doesn’t automatically mean the Fed has to hike rates. For me, the bigger question is whether CPI confirms that inflation is still running hot enough to change the Fed’s current stance.

If CPI comes in hotter than expected, I’d expect pressure on risk assets, with traders potentially pricing in a more hawkish Fed. That could be bearish for stocks and crypto in the short term, while gold could also see volatility as yields and the dollar react.

On the other hand, a softer CPI print could bring some relief. If inflation continues cooling without a major deterioration in employment, the Fed may have more room to hold rather than hike.

My take: I’m cautiously bullish if CPI comes in at or below expectations, but a hotter-than-expected number could quickly flip the market bearish. I’d rather wait for the actual data than chase the first move.

I keep coming back to one simple idea with $LINK :

Crypto can’t stay completely inside crypto.

Blockchains need reliable information from the outside world — prices, markets, events, and other real-world data. That’s where Chainlink’s role gets interesting.

No meme narrative needed. No “100x guaranteed” story either.

If blockchain adoption keeps expanding, the infrastructure connecting smart contracts to external data could become increasingly important.

That’s why LINK is still on my watchlist.

One thing I’ve noticed about $BNB : it rarely needs to be the loudest coin in the room.

#termmax @TermMax I’ve been following @TermMax for a while, but the latest update makes this feel like a much more interesting moment for the project. The $TMX TGE is now set for August 25, 2026, and there is actually a lot happening behind that date. TermMax says it has grown to more than $90M in TVL, 1.5M+ registered wallets, 90K+ daily active users and 10 EVM chains. That’s a very different picture from simply having a token launch on the calendar.

What caught my attention most is how much the product has expanded recently. App V2 brings markets, orders and positions together across chains, while new developments around bStocks, HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain and Canton Network show that the team is pushing beyond a single DeFi use case. The RLUSD vault also crossed $20M in two days and unlocked 5M $TMX for XP holders.

For users who earned XP, AP or MP, the next thing I’m personally watching is how allocation checks, vesting and staking details are handled around TGE. I think those details matter just as much as the launch itself.
