DeFi has achieved impressive innovation and growth, but its risk management infrastructure has lagged behind. Most existing tools are reactive — they can only detect and respond to issues after transactions have already settled on the blockchain. This creates a fundamental gap between policy and execution, leaving vaults and protocols exposed to risks that could have been prevented proactively.
Once a transaction is confirmed, reversing it or enforcing internal rules becomes extremely difficult and often impractical. Many vault curators still rely on fragmented offchain processes, manual reviews, and delayed monitoring systems, which are insufficient as capital scales.

Most DeFi Vaults today are protected by a combination of smart contract audits and offchain risk parameters. While audits are important, they only verify code logic at a specific point in time. They cannot dynamically control how capital behaves after deployment.
