Bitcoin’s ETF Streak Hits 9 Days — But the Real Test Is Ahead
Nine straight days of Bitcoin ETF inflows. That’s the part of this rally I’m watching most closely.
On August 27, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $242.3M in net inflows, extending the streak to nine consecutive sessions. Ethereum ETFs also posted $225.8M, their ninth straight positive day.
That’s a very different signal from a rally driven purely by leverage.
BTC has been trading around the $79K–$80K area after briefly moving above $81K. At the same time, recent analysis suggests market liquidity has remained relatively strong, giving the move more substance than a thin-market pump.
But there’s still a big hurdle.
Bitcoin needs to prove that it can hold these higher levels while ETF demand continues. The May high around $82.8K is becoming an important area for traders watching the next breakout attempt.
So I’m less interested in one green candle and more interested in whether institutional demand keeps showing up.
$BTC $ETH Do you think this 9-day ETF inflow streak is the foundation for another leg higher, or does BTC need to consolidate first?
