🎬 Why I Bought Netflix (NFLX) Despite the Recent Pullback
Many investors are focusing on the recent drop in Netflix, but I'm looking beyond the short-term noise.
Here's why I decided to buy:
✅ 1. The business is still growing.
Netflix continues to generate strong revenue, healthy profits, and significant free cash flow. A temporary stock decline doesn't change the strength of the business.
✅ 2. New growth engines are emerging.
The ad-supported subscription tier, live events, and gaming initiatives could unlock additional revenue over the coming years.
✅ 3. A global entertainment leader.
With more than 300 million subscribers worldwide, Netflix has one of the strongest brands in streaming. Its scale and original content create a competitive advantage that's difficult to replicate.
📈 My view:
I believe this is a short-term correction rather than a long-term problem. I'm investing with a 3–5 year horizon, not for the next few weeks. If the company continues executing, I believe today's price could look attractive in hindsight.
