🇫🇷 FRANCE'S CRYPTO TAX PROPOSALS HIT A ROADBLOCK
France's National Assembly rejected the revenue section of its proposed 2027 budget by 458 votes to zero.
This removed proposed provisions concerning crypto-to-stablecoin taxation and reporting requirements for certain self-custody holdings from that version of the budget.
Important: this does not mean all crypto tax rules have disappeared.
The proposals could still return during later budget discussions.
Regulation remains one of the biggest factors shaping Europe's crypto industry.
