What Are the Binance Academy Educational Courses?

Binance Academy, Binance’s educational arm, introduces online courses to its versatile list of offerings. In addition to in-depth articles, the Learn & Earn program, in-person educational seminars, and educational partnerships with universities, you can now take online courses to advance your knowledge in specific areas related to blockchain technology, crypto, and Web3.

What courses are available? Are they free to take?

Binance Academy hosts a selection of free and paid courses. You’ll receive a Certificate of Completion after completing the course. 

The free courses are designed by Binance Academy and currently include:

• Beginner Track (consisting of 6 fixed courses);
• Intermediate Track (consisting of 6 fixed courses); and
• Specialization Track (consisting of various specialized courses).

The paid courses are university courses curated and accredited by leading educational institutions. They cost 10 USDC per course.

There are plans to gradually expand Binance Academy’s course offerings in the future. We may also offer special promotional offers or discounts from time to time. Stay tuned to the latest courses available by following Binance Academy on X and Binance Square.

How do I take the courses?

1. Log in to your Binance account and go to [More] - [Binance Academy]. 

2. Click [Courses] and choose a course you’re interested in. 

3. To begin, click [Start Course] on the selected course landing page.

For paid courses, you’ll only be able to access the course content after successful payment through Binance Pay.

How do I pay for the paid courses?

Simply click on the [Enroll Now] button on the respective course’s landing page and follow the payment steps on the pop-up window.

Please note: Users from the following countries do not have access to Binance Pay, and won’t be able to access the paid courses:

• Cuba
• Great Britain
• Iran
• Japan

• New Zealand
• North Korea

Can I request a refund after paying for a course?

If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you can contact Binance Support to request a refund. 

• For users in the EU, you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
• For users outside the EU, you can request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

However, you will not receive a refund if you have completed the course and/or obtained the completion certificate.

What do I get for taking the courses?

In addition to gaining valuable crypto and blockchain knowledge, users who finish courses can receive the following certificates:

PDF certificates are granted to users who:

• Finish a course in the Intermediate Track; or
• Finish all courses in the Specialization Track; or
• Finish a paid university course.

NFT certificates are granted to users who:

• Finish all six courses in the Beginner Track; or
• Finish a course in the Intermediate Track.

Please note: NFT certificates may not be available in some regions, and are non-transferable and non-tradable.

How to claim my certificates?

PDF certificates:

To be qualified to receive a PDF certificate, you must complete one course in the Intermediate Track, all courses in the Specialization Track, or all courses in a paid university track. 

Please note: You must be logged in to your Binance account when completing the courses.

To view all of your completed courses and PDF certificates, mouse over the profile icon and go to [My courses] - [Completed].

NFT certificates:

Your NFT certificate will show up in your Binance account within 14 days of completing all the required course assignments. 

Please note: You must be logged in to your Binance account when completing the courses.

You can check your NFT certificates from [More] - [NFT]. Mouse over the profile icon and click [My NFTs]. You’ll see the certificate under [Collected]. 

Do I have to log in to my Binance account to take the courses?

For free courses, logging into your Binance account is not mandatory, but we highly recommend to do so. This allows you to track your course progress effectively, and you’ll be able to receive PDF and/or NFT certificates. If you don't log in to your Binance account, your learning progress cannot be recorded.

For paid courses, it’s mandatory to log in to your Binance account for payment and to start a course. 

Terms and Conditions

• Only users from eligible regions who logged in to their verified Binance accounts while completing the Binance Academy courses and respective quizzes are qualified to receive NFT certificates.
• Claiming an NFT certificate upon course completion is optional. Completing the quizzes and claiming or receiving an NFT certificate isn’t mandatory.
• NFT certificates received upon the completion of Academy courses are non-tradable. Users are not allowed to list or trade NFT certificates from Academy courses on the Binance NFT Marketplace.
• NFT certificates for each learning track will be distributed to eligible users within 14 days of passing the respective quizzes.
• To view all their completed courses and PDF certificates, users can mouse over the profile icon and go to [My courses] - [Completed].
• Requests for refunds have to be made by contacting Binance Support:
• Users in the EU can request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
• Users outside the EU can request a refund within 7 days of purchase.
• A refund will not be granted if a user has completed the course and/or obtained the certificate.
• Illegally bulk-registered accounts and sub-accounts are not eligible to participate or receive any NFT certificates.
• Binance accounts can only be used by the account registrants. Binance reserves the right to suspend, freeze, or cancel the use of Binance accounts by persons other than account registrants.
• Binance reserves the right of final interpretation of all terms and conditions applicable to Academy courses and all activities relating thereto. Binance also reserves the right to change or modify these terms at its sole discretion at any time.
• Where any discrepancy arises between the translated versions and the original English version, the English version shall prevail.
