Binance is committed to cultivating an environment that fosters respectful and meaningful interactions. As Binance welcomes users to our Telegram and Discord communities, users are expected to familiarize themselves and adhere to the following community guidelines:
A. Community Rules
- Respect and Politeness: Treat all members with kindness and inclusivity. Insults, harassment, or any form of disrespect will not be tolerated.
- Content Sharing: Refrain from sharing content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, or irrelevant to Binance. Refrain from spreading Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD), or Fear of Missing Out (FOMO).
- Relevance: Keep discussions aligned with the topic and language of the specific channel you're in. Off-topic discussions can be shared in designated channels, if any.
- No Spamming: Spamming the communities with selling pitches, unsolicited offers, phishing links, links to external communities, and repetitive messages is not tolerated. Emojis and gifs can be considered as spams in certain communities - Make sure to adhere to the individual community rules.
- Data Protection: Do not disclose your sensitive information nor that of others, such as wallet addresses, transaction details, emails, phone numbers, name and surname, and more.
- Respect Privacy: Do not initiate private messages or direct messages (PM or DM) to other users, unless given explicit permission. Engaging in communication with members outside the Binance community is solely at the user's discretion and risk.
- Impersonation: Impersonating other users is strictly prohibited. Do not copy or reproduce other people's original messages or engage in any conduct that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
- No Unsolicited Promotion: We do not allow any form of unsolicited advertisement, including the shilling or promotion of other coins or tokens, ICOs, exchanges, blockchain companies, personal social accounts and community channels, job offers or requests, and more.
- No Financial Advice: Do not use our communities to advertise projects or manipulate trading behaviors. We encourage educational content, technical analysis, and genuine exchange of ideas.
- Criticism of Binance: We want to engage you - the community - to advance the industry and promote crypto literacy. Messages that contain fair and constructive criticism about us are also welcome. We will listen, and we will improve. But we will not tolerate trolls, untruths, misrepresentations, and unfounded allegations.
B. Violations
- Warnings: In most cases, a warning will be given for the first policy violation and you will be muted temporarily. However, if the action is extreme, such as scams, a kick or ban can take place without any prior warning.
- Repeated offenses: You'll be permanently banned if you violate our community guidelines for a total of 3 times.
- Binance and Binance Angels reserve the right of final judgment and interpretation in respect of all matters and rules relating to your access to Binance communities, as well as the imposition of appropriate penalties, if any. To avoid doubt, Binance also reserves the right to deviate from the community management guidelines, if deemed appropriate, at its sole and absolute discretion.
C. Moderation Appeals
If you believe you've been unfairly banned on Telegram, please contact us directly via our dedicated appeal Telegram group: Binance Resolutions, powered by Binance Angels. Make sure to read the pinned instructions before messaging in the group.
If you believe you've been unfairly banned on Discord, please contact our Customer Support directly and provide your Discord username.
By adhering to these guidelines, we can collectively ensure that the Binance community continues to be a constructive and supportive environment for all users. Thank you for your cooperation.
