HOW TO IDENTIFY LIQUIDITY IN TRADING?
Liquidity is usually found around areas where many traders place their orders and stop losses.
Above equal highs (EQH), when the price leaves several highs at practically the same level, there may be liquidity above.
Below equal lows (EQL), when the price respects the same low multiple times, liquidity can accumulate below.
But finding liquidity doesn’t mean you should enter immediately.
One way to use it is to wait:
Liquidity → sweep → confirmation → entry
For example, price may break a high to take liquidity and then quickly return below it. That’s where we wait for confirmation before looking for a trade.
Remember: liquidity is a tool for interpreting price, not an automatic entry signal. Always use a stop loss and appropriate risk management.

I have a curious story. I told my brother to buy all the BTC he could when BTC was at 58k.
I was completely broke three months ago from trying to play at being a trader, and my whole family found out about my loss. In short, they told me I was a complete idiot, so naturally my brother didn’t take my advice. 😭
Now BTC is around 76k.
He’s the one who showed me this app and got me into the world of cryptocurrencies. And in fact, he was there during the 2021 BTC drop, where he lost quite a bit of money, so naturally he’s got some trauma, I guess.
But since I discovered trading, it’s been very captivating to me, and I don’t see any way it can stop me until I manage to master it. It’s a new challenge for me.

We got the move, and $BTC is standing exactly where we were before the data. That’s what actual patience for a trade looks like.
The data came in mixed but with some important numbers. ADP Non-Farm Employment Change came at 90K vs 73K forecast, while Core PCE came in at 0.2% vs 0.3% expected. Final GDP was also stronger at 2.2% vs 1.5% forecast, while Personal Spending came in at 0.9% vs 0.8% expected. At the same time, Personal Income missed at 0.2% vs 0.5% forecast.
BTC initially surged to $85,600 and is now back where it needs to be. I’m still looking toward the lower ranges at $82,759 and the $80,000 liquidity, because the overhead liquidity is done and dusted.
We had a live session during the data, and during that session we saw the market at $83,800, then $85,600, and then back toward $83,000 and we still didn’t enter a trade.
That’s what patience is.
We can’t force an entry when the market has no clear direction. The same range is still in focus, and we’ll wait for the market to give us the setup.
