TRON has released GreatVoyage-v4.8.2.3 (Anaxagoras), a new version that updates smart contract storage access, improves BN128 pairing performance, and optimizes the parsing process for JSON data generated by nodes. According to Foresight News, the upgrade is intended to improve node efficiency and stability.
The release is mandatory, and TRON urged node operators to complete the update as soon as possible to avoid affecting block synchronization. 🚨 4.33 MILLION $BTC are sitting in reused Bitcoin addresses.
According to Glassnode data reported on October 8, this represents approximately 21.5% of Bitcoin’s circulating supply.
But the bigger concern is quantum computing.
When a Bitcoin address is reused after spending, its public key can remain exposed on the blockchain. A sufficiently powerful quantum computer could potentially exploit exposed keys to steal funds.
The total supply with exposed public keys, including older address types, has reached 6.26 MILLION $BTC — around 31.2% of the total supply.
⚠️ This does NOT mean those coins can be hacked today. No quantum computer currently has the demonstrated ability to break Bitcoin’s cryptography at this scale.
The challenge is preparing Bitcoin’s security before that technology arrives.
