How do you use the long/short ratio? Take $ETH as an example: the overall account long/short ratio is 2.68 (72.8% long / 27.2% short), compared with 2.72 one hour ago.
I usually look at it in three steps:
① Check for extremes: The current reading is relatively extreme, and the more crowded side is often shaken out in the opposite direction;
② Check the change: There are more short positions than one hour ago;
③ Check for divergence: The price is up 2.73% over 24h, with no major divergence at the moment.
Readings that point in the same direction for several consecutive hours are more significant than a one-off fluctuation.

Why, when you send some bitcoin, does the block explorer show that some of it went back to another address of your own?

I’ve used bank accounts in Hong Kong and the US for withdrawals before. When I withdraw, I withdraw in US dollars. Whether it’s to a US account, it feels very comfortable, and the fees are also very low. With the Sea Demon exchange, the fees are basically 0—there’s just a loss from the exchange rate. The Hong Kong one is for withdrawing cryptocurrencies, but I really haven’t used it much. The only time I used it was by withdrawing through the crypto on that Hong Kong securities exchange—I withdrew 200 Hong Kong dollars, and it arrived the next day. But now it’s basically almost gone, and the advantages are getting smaller and smaller.

Basically, there’s nothing really useful left, and even the U cards with cashback are like that.

It feels like the risk control for C2C withdrawals to WeChat and Alipay is a bit strict lately. Buying is usually not a big problem, but selling gets account-suspended for 15 days as soon as it comes in 😅😂
