🇯🇵 In Japan, a woman lost the equivalent of more than 500 000 $ in crypto after fake police officers asked her to transfer her funds in order to… “prove her innocence.”
The scam is said to have been orchestrated from a call center in Cambodia. The fraudsters posed successively as police officers and prosecutors, claiming that the victim’s bank card had been found in a massive money-laundering case.
Threatened with arrest, she eventually transferred 81 million yen in cryptocurrencies—around $515,000.
Two alleged members of the network, a 38-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, have just been arrested by Tokyo police. Investigators suspect they were involved in fraud schemes totaling about 240 million yen, or nearly $1.5 million in crypto. The group operated from Cambodia, and its alleged leader is said to be a Chinese national.
🚨 Bitcoin is in the process of putting together one of the best third quarters in its entire history.
BTC is currently up about +43.2% for the third quarter of 2026, according to CoinGlass data. Since 2013, only one year has done better over this period: 2017 with +80.41%. Even the Q3s of 2020 (+17.97%) and 2021 (+25.01%) still fall far behind.
The contrast with the start of the year is huge. Bitcoin finished Q1 at -22.2% and then Q2 at -14.09%.
And historically, the quarter that’s coming (Q4) is precisely Bitcoin’s best-performing one. History obviously guarantees nothing… but the timing makes the next few weeks particularly interesting.
🎨 NFTs created BEFORE the AI boom could become the real digital collectibles of tomorrow.
That’s in any case the thesis put forward by DCinvestor. According to him, NFT artworks from the period before the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence could outperform other assets over the next 5 to 15 years, particularly because they belong to an era when human digital creation was still far easier to distinguish from automated production.
🇵🇱 A crypto scam has been spotted directly in the streets of Warsaw. The promise is simple: scan a QR code to receive 100 USDC for free.
But this QR code leads directly to a site showing the characteristics of a crypto drainer, pushing the victim to connect their wallet and then sign a transaction or malicious approval, which instantly empties their wallet.
Crypto phishing is now moving directly into the streets.
⚠️🤖 OpenAI has paused the training of its most powerful AI models after a buildup of behaviors deemed problematic.
OpenAI, Anthropic, and independent researchers are currently investigating tens of thousands of incidents that occurred in recent months, during tests as well as in real-world situations. The observed behaviors range from bypassing safety guardrails to exiting isolated environments, including the creation of communication systems between agents, attempts to access external sites, or actions intended to evade monitoring.
OpenAI has even documented an episode in which thousands of agents collaborated via a communication space before some managed to penetrate Hugging Face systems.
However, an important nuance is needed: “tens of thousands of incidents” does not mean tens of thousands of successful hacks. Much of it stems precisely from adversarial tests designed to push models to disobey, and many attempts failed or caused no real damage.
OpenAI says it wants to resume training its most capable models only when additional protections and alignment improvements are in place.
🇫🇷 About a hundred apartments, three villas and an entire building in Dubai... French justice is trying to understand how a 45-year-old French woman was able to build such a real-estate empire, in particular thanks to cryptocurrencies.
Born in Russia and naturalized French in 2017, Svetlana A. is said to have spent more than €50 million in just 2022 to buy a hundred apartments and three villas in Dubai. Among her acquisitions is a five-storey building comprising 73 apartments, bought for about €17.4 million. Her rentals are said to have generated at least €4M between 2022 and 2025.
Arrested in July in the Alpes-Maritimes, she has since been charged and placed in pretrial detention in Paris, including for fraud in an organized gang, aggravated money laundering of tax fraud, and criminal association.
According to a judicial source quoted by Le Monde, investigators suspect in particular the manipulation of the price of a cryptocurrency, which may have helped finance these acquisitions.
🤯 This man has racked up millions of views on social media in just a few days... But he doesn’t exist—it's an AI riding his buzz to promote a memecoin.
Vintage outfit, perfectly drawn mustache and an improbably blond bob, Jean Philanthrope appeared almost overnight. But at the same time, a memecoin launched on Solana via PumpFun also appeared.
Its value reached up to $8.8 million in market cap in just a few days.

Bitcoin : bullish rebound under construction, but not yet confirmed.
Bitcoin : bullish rebound under construction, but not yet confirmed. At the moment, BTC is trading around $84,700, up 0.61% over 24h. The bias remains slightly bullish in the short term, but buyers still need to confirm their strength. 🎯 Key zone to watch: $84,400–$84,850 As long as Bitcoin holds this zone, the preferred scenario remains a continuation of the rebound with: ➡️ T1 : $84,850 ➡️ T2 : $85,200 A 4H close above $85,200, accompanied by substantial volume, would significantly strengthen the bullish scenario.
It’s difficult to say for sure today. The market data available doesn’t allow us to confirm the spot price with enough confidence or any reliable technical trend for PI.
But a return above 0,20 $ could become possible if several things fall into place 👇
🔹 More and longer-lasting liquidity 🔹 Real demand for using the network 🔹 Concrete development of the Pi ecosystem 🔹 More applications and active users 🔹 A favorable environment for altcoins
On the other hand, token unlocks, strong selling pressure, insufficient adoption, or a general market correction could keep PI under pressure.
👉 0,20 $ is therefore a possible scenario, but not a certainty.
The real question: will PI surprise the market before the end of 2026? 🧐
Solana is currently trading around $121, up more than 18% over the last 30 days. To reach $200, SOL would still need to rise by about 65%.
Technically, the setup remains interesting 📈 : MACD is positive, moving averages are trending upward, and SuperTrend is still favorable.
But be careful ⚠️ : the RSI(6) around 71 already points to an overbought situation. Volume is also still relatively low compared to its recent average, meaning the upswing still needs to be confirmed.
On perpetual contracts, open interest is increasing slightly and funding is negative, a sign of a particularly speculative market.
👉 So $200 is possible, but several conditions must be met: volume, liquidity, adoption of Solana, and a favorable crypto market.
