JCT is just one daily candle away from a RAVE-style rally: a close above 0.004599
Here's my take: $JCT If this daily candle (closing at 8 a.m. Beijing time on October 21) can close above 0.004599, I think there's a good chance it'll take off in a wild rally like RAVE. If it can't close above that level, treat it as a one-day wonder. ▍Where does 0.004599 come from? It was the high of the July 20 daily candle. From June through mid-August, JCT churned above and below this level for over two months. August 6 was the last time it closed above it; it never closed above it again. Starting August 15, it fell all the way to 0.001218 on September 9. The price is now 0.00468, just barely above this level. If it can hold above it at the close, that would be the first time in over two months it has closed back above it.
Don't just take the news at face value: CoreWeave hits an 18-month low, and these are the three prices below that I'm watching
Today's news says CoreWeave ($CRWV ) fell 6%, hitting its lowest level since May 2025. The news tells you how much it fell, but not where the bottom is. I'm looking at the monthly chart, and there are three prices below that I think could be in the bottom zone: 47.03, 44.03, and 41.30. ▍Where did these three prices come from? · 47.03: The opening price of the May 2025 monthly candlestick. On May 1, it gapped up right at the open, 14% above the previous day's close. · 44.03: Still on May 1, this was the day's low—and also the low for all of May. The big rally after CRWV went public started here: it climbed to 187 in seven weeks, more than quadrupling.
Why I Don’t Short and Only Use 1x on Altcoins: I Ran the Numbers on 245 Coins That Skyrocketed
I trade altcoins myself, and I have two habits: I don’t short, and when I go long, I basically don’t use leverage—I stick to 1x. I’ve always thought that if you pick the right altcoin, the right big market trend, and the right price, even a 1x position can bring in a very high return. Talk is cheap. I pulled the daily candlestick data for nearly 1,000 days of Binance futures (from December 2023 through September this year, including coins that have already been delisted) and ran the numbers. ▍First, shorting: losses have no upper limit When you go long, the worst that can happen is the coin goes to zero—you can only lose your initial investment. Shorting is different: there’s no ceiling on how high the price can go. With a 1x short, if the coin doubles in price, you’ll be liquidated (including maintenance margin, it’ll actually happen before it doubles). To avoid liquidation, you have to add more margin—but in a one-way market, adding margin can become a bottomless pit.$LAB From the low in December last year to the high in June this year, the price rose more than 300-fold. That’s like getting liquidated once for every doubling—eight liquidations in total.
JCT Doubled—Was It Driven by Short Liquidations? I Checked Open Positions and Found It Wasn’t
$JCT Today, the price climbed from 0.00196 at 10 a.m. to a high of 0.00448 in the evening—more than doubling. Many people’s first reaction was: shorts have been liquidated; when prices rise this fast, they can fall just as fast. I pulled the contract data and took a look. This rally was driven mainly not by short liquidations, but by newly opened long positions. And the higher the price went, the more people went short. ▍First, a quick explainer: how to tell “genuine longs” from “shorts closing their positions” Every time a contract is opened, one person goes long and another goes short, forming a pair. “Open contract positions” refers to the number of positions that are still open. · When shorts close their positions (including when they’re liquidated), they buy back their short positions. This can push the price up, but since those positions are closed, the number of open positions goes down.
Someone Had Been Quietly Withdrawing Tokens Since Early October: Two JCT Multisig Wallets Pulled 443 Million Tokens in 18 Days
$JCT The price peaked at 0.00418 today, more than doubling in 24 hours. In my previous article, I wrote: "Before the pump, a multisig wallet distributed 1.37 billion tokens to six new wallets." This time, I looked further back on-chain and found something else: someone had been quietly withdrawing tokens since early October. ▍First, a quick primer: What does “withdrawing tokens” mean? When coins move from an exchange to someone's own wallet, they generally intend to hold them. When they move coins the other way, they’re probably looking to sell. So keeping an eye on where whales’ coins are going can often tell you what they’re up to before the candlestick chart does. ▍Two multisig wallets withdrew 443 million tokens from exchanges in 18 days
$JCT On September 13, I said: “If it holds 1423 (that is, 0.001423) at the month-end close, there’s a good chance of a massive rally in October.” Screenshot here.
The result: · September closed at 0.001746—it held · On October 8, it wicked down to 0.00131, then recovered in just three and a half hours. It rose 62% that day · It doubled again today, reaching a high of 0.00398—up 180% from 0.001423
Before JCT surged 70%, someone split 1.37 billion tokens across six new wallets
$JCT Today, the price rose from 0.00199 to 0.0034, a 70% increase. I dug through the on-chain data and found three things. ▍First: Someone moved funds on-chain before the price surge First, what is a multisig wallet? It’s a wallet that requires several people to sign off before funds can be moved. They’re generally used by project teams, foundations, or institutions. · At 1:33 a.m. Beijing time on October 20, a multisig wallet transferred its 1.37 billion JCT in a single transaction, splitting it among six addresses. · This wallet had held these tokens without moving them for more than two months. All six receiving addresses were new wallets with no prior transactions.
US has fallen over 90%—these two price levels are good for adding to a position or buying
US (Talus) has fallen from its July peak of 0.0623 to 0.0057 now, losing over 90%. It dropped 79% in October alone. If it gets a second wind, I think 0.004227 and 0.003935 are good levels for adding to a position or buying. Those stuck in long positions can add at these two levels to lower their average cost. ▍Why these two price levels · 0.004227: March's closing price. It fell to a low of 0.004221 in May, almost exactly the same level, then rose nearly 15x through May, June, and July. The price with the most trading activity in February was also around 0.0042. · 0.003935: April's low. The price found support there in April, and that marked the start of the big rally that followed, climbing more than 15x to its July peak.
If Lobster has another run in it, these two levels are good areas to add to your position or buy in
$龙虾 It has fallen 93% from its September high of 0.3143 to 0.0211 now. If it has another run in it, I think 0.01122 and 0.00724 are good levels to add to your position or buy in. If you’re stuck in losing long positions, you can add at these two levels to bring your average cost down. ▍Why these two levels · 0.01122: July’s low. When the price fell to this level in July, buyers stepped in. It rose 46% that month, then climbed another 251% in August. The previous major rally started right here. · 0.00724: April’s closing price. In April and May, Lobster traded sideways around this level for a long time, with the most buying and selling happening in this range. Put simply, this is where people bought the most before it took off.
JCT fell below a key level for 3.5 hours, then rose 62% that day: I think the bottom is in
Bottom line: I think $JCT has already bottomed. The key range is between 0.001423 and 0.001471. The next confirmation point is the October monthly close (8 a.m. Beijing time on November 1). ▍How this level was identified JCT (Janction) is an Alpha token on BSC. Binance offers futures only, not spot trading. Futures trading launched on November 10, 2025, and the price peaked at 0.0126 that day before falling steadily. Two monthly lows this year are crucial: 0.001423 in January and 0.001471 in March. The rally started from that March low, reaching a high of 0.00827 on June 13—a 5.6x gain.
$CTR Yesterday’s daily candle was up 30%, with $30.2 million in trading volume—28 times the usual amount and the second-highest since listing. Nothing moved for the first 14 hours. Then, at 10 p.m. Beijing time, an hourly candle surged 13.6%, and the move began. During the rally, open interest in perpetual contracts rose 42%, the share of accounts holding short positions climbed from 31% to 43%, and the funding rate remained positive. Short positions were being added; it wasn’t a short squeeze pushing the price up. The listing high above is 0.0227, still 31% away.
