I opened the app yesterday to show my friend something, and I didn’t expect such a reaction 😄 He’s been in the market for 10 years—everything is classic: dividends, blue-chip stocks. About my crypto, he always said: "you’re playing, and I’m investing." I showed him the S&P 500 via TradFi on Binance. The very same asset he holds through a broker, just here—it’s next to the rest of my crypto. Right away he asked: "is it definitely the same?" I honestly said— not quite; it’s access through the platform, not direct ownership, so it’s worth understanding the difference. He liked it that you don’t have to wait for the exchange to open and have a separate account. I liked that I finally didn’t hear the word "casino" 😅 I don’t move much into it myself; it’s not the main part of my portfolio. But when everything is in one window, you start looking at it differently. He didn’t buy anything, and that’s fine. But for the first time, he actually started thinking. I never thought I’d say this, but my brokerage app has been gathering dust lately
It used to be like this: in the morning, I check stocks in one app, and in the evening I look at crypto in another. Two portfolios that never really intersect, plus the constant feeling that I’m missing something, because I’m only seeing half the picture. I tried bStocks and finally understood why I felt uncomfortable before. Stocks there are presented as tokenized assets right inside the crypto app—without a separate broker account and without all the paperwork at the start. What’s really convenient: the portfolio is visible as a whole, in one window—you don’t have to jump between apps. What I remind myself of before buying: a tokenized share isn’t the same as direct ownership via a traditional broker. Liquidity, trading hours, and terms can differ depending on the asset, so I read the details each time instead of buying “on autopilot.”
Personally, I can’t stand moving my entire portfolio over there. For me, bStocks is a way to top up one or two positions without opening a separate account when the amount is small. Anything more stays in the classic broker. Has anyone fully switched to bStocks, or are you still keeping two worlds side by side? 👇
