TradFi includes the familiar financial services and institutions: 🏦 banks, loans, mortgages, currency transactions, investment and commercial banks.

Unlike DeFi, traditional finance operates through centralized institutions and regulated financial infrastructure.
🔗 Why is TradFi important for the crypto market?
The line between traditional finance and the crypto ecosystem is gradually becoming less clear. In the crypto market, more tools are emerging that are linked to traditional assets.

For example, Binance Academy describes TradFi assets available for trading on Binance Futures, including commodities, stock indices, and shares. At the same time, it’s important to understand: such futures contracts do not mean owning the stocks or ETFs themselves.

Another direction is RWA (Real-World Assets), when traditional assets—such as real estate, bonds, or commodities—can be represented as tokens on a blockchain.
So, TradFi is not just "old finance." It is a huge part of the global financial system that is increasingly intersecting with the crypto industry.
